A View From The Other Side
This is the fairest opposition match report I’ve ever read. Fair play to the author, spot on. https://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/football/peterborough-united/cruel-yes-heartbreaking-yes-unfortunate-no-thats-a-much-harder-sell-for-the-peterborough-united-camp-4841458

Simulation
And the pundits said he didn’t deserve a yellow. Dragged his rear foot along the ground to ensure contact with the defender.

Homebuyer’s survey help.
I used John Bromilow from these lot, who used to be part of Edward Estates Agents but separate now. Not cheap but thorough survey. https://www.edwardsgenesis.co.uk/page/home

Wasn't he a copper? And I think he kept budgies.

Birmingham City (A)
Making excuses for nobody. Just calling it how I see it having watched. We need to play better but complete meltdown on here and elsewhere tonight.
-
Stockport County (A)
Stockport still got tickets on open sale.

Birmingham City (A)
Disappointing but don't get the wrist slashing. Playing a £30m team away from home without our best keeper, a RWB at RCB and our captain/key midfielder. McAtee puts the first chance away and we get a draw. Things need to improve, we're not in top form. Last season's play off cock up means we've had 4 weeks less rest and 4 weeks less to prepare this summer. We will improve. Chances need to be taken and we need to get on top of why players keep getting injured.

Still about 150 left on open sale.

Loan Watch 2024/25
This one's bit better

Bolton V Aston Villa U21 (H)
In No Southwood, so presumably Coleman in goal.

Bolton V Aston Villa U21 (H)
Is Toal not away on international duty? At least Santos or Johnston has to play unfortunately. Think JDC might have to play RCB and to be fair he's the one with every right to be knackered after the last 3 games.

Northampton Town (A)
Been dry all day in Northampton. Light rain forecast for tomorrow. Postponement very unlikely.

Injuries
What's happened to Jones? In July said he had a knee problem and would be out for a couple of weeks.

Northampton Town (A)
Think it was Coleman's first league start and we conceded inside 3 minutes - not his fault. They also brought Louie Moulden on in goal at HT, he played in front of us away fans, took the banter well. Definitely the shittest away town of last season.

Loan Watch 2024/25
Was me, wasn't sure anyone was interested, but happy to contribute. The full list out on loan is: Dan, Morley and Conway all on season long loans (no idea if there are any recall agreement's) Khumbeni at Accy to 1/1/25 Hutch at Marine (National League), season long loan, and Andreucci at Buxton (NLN) until 1/1/25.

Arsenal (A)
Arrived y’day. Mild and dry day here but rain forecast by KO time. Not spotted any other members of the White Army yet, but not seen any gooners either. Meeting my gooner mate for late lunch, he reckons most of the home crowd will be “Tourists”. Let’s make some noise!

Think red cards are now tournament related so presumably Trossard plays on Wednesday. Southwood, Williams, Forino (for GJ), Dempsey, Collins and McAtee in for us.- Transfers - Other L1 teams
Faal lasted a whole 7 weeks at Crawley.- First football match
Boxing Day 1968. 1-0 home defeat to Carlisle Utd. Stood on Manny Road North with my dad. Had to go down to the front to see, but could only see people's ankles because of the raised pitch. Should have realised then it would mainly be a life of heartache and pain.- Transfer Gossip
Pete O'Rourke Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers have made moves to sign former Fulham winger Sylvester Jasper on a free transfer- Transfer Gossip
Iles said post Barrow that some problems had emerged - without elaborating.- Football Ventures
Hart to MK Dons I think. New Kuwaiti owners. Not sure if poached, jumped or is being pushed.- Barrow (A)
No it said West Stand but we were actually in the East Stand! Must have been just a couple of seats away from @desparado. We went to the back of the stand second half where the view was marginally better. - Arsenal (A)
