Nope, bar job in Puerto Banus. It's ok, whilst grumbling at the price of the ticket it's only relative, I'm sure I can afford ?10!!

Rochdale Ticket Prices
That would mean I would be in the Dale end though - not much fun when another circle of friends are all in the away end. He's pretty good at complimentary tickets, even coming up trumps for Wembley. Lucky sods off to Marbella this morning, as he was keen to remind me, not a bad life eh?

Rochdale Ticket Prices
I'm only going as a mate plays for Dale - f*cking expensive for a friendly.

Yeah, still the fave at the minute. I used to have a 325 which was pretty good. Was thinking of getting the Scirocco but won't be out in time. Maybe the TT but it's a bit girly.

Yep, he said the cocks who used to have M3s now go for S4s. I'm due to get a new company car and was planning on the 170bhp A3 - might have to think of something else!!!

Manny Pacquiao
Mayweather practically lives in the gym, he'll hardly break sweat doing this. No disrespect but I'm not talking about wrestling anymore, it's utter wank.

Manny Pacquiao
I'm sure it would be a whole lot easier though!

Manny Pacquiao
Hmm, think the $$$ might have something to with that. He'll 'come back' to fight De la Hoya, retire, then 'come back' to fight Hatton at Wembley or Croke Park - too much money on offer not to. Plus 2 relatively comfortable fights for the legend.

Manny Pacquiao
I'm not so sure. I've yet to watch anyone who can live with Hatton at light-welterweight and I think it would be a weight too far for Pacquiao. Granted he took Diaz apart, but Diaz is not in the same class as Hatton. He is far too one-dimensional, I know that has been labelled at Hatton but he's far from that, and Pacquiao just picked him off everytime he came in. In his last few fights Pacquiao has struggled as the rounds went on and the deluge of punches Hatton would throw, at a greater power than Pacquiao has yet experienced, would see him in deep water by the mid to latter stages of the fight. Pacquiao had 9 rounds of total domination before he stopped Diaz, he won't have anything like that amount of control over Hatton and with Hatton being a bigger bloke with more punch resistance I just don't see Pacquiao having sufficient power to stop him. I think this could be a redundant point anyway as Hatton will fight Malignaggi next before a last fight against the soon to come out of retirement again Mayweather Jr. Interestingly, Pacquiao's next fight is rumoured to be against Edwin Valero. Valero used to hold the world record for longest sequence of first round knockouts, winning his first 18 or 19 fights this way before someone lasted 2 rounds! He's won 23/24 fights and everyone by knockout. In fairness not many of them have big names as he was banned from fighting in the US due to a blood clot after a bike accident (which happened years ago). He's signed to Golden Boy Promotions and has been granted a licence in Texas I think. Apparently he's been sparring with Shane Moseley and been very impressive. Really looking forward to that one - Nov 8 I've heard.

Manny Pacquiao
Did anyone see Pacquiao's fight against David Diaz on Sat/Sun? It was a phenomenal performance, winning every single round before knocking Diaz out in the 9th with a short left cross. Fair play to Diaz in sticking at it but he get absolutely battered, suffering a brutal cut in the first couple of rounds and then two huge bruises on his other eye. Pacquiao is now a 4 weight world champion and is even talking of moving up to light-welterweight and maybe fighting Ricky Hatton. That would be interesting! This fight made a mockery of Amir Khan's declaration, albeit before the Gomez fight, that he wanted to fight the winner of Pacquiao and Diaz. It was abundantly clear the Pacquiao is a class above at the moment and I'm not sure Khan will ever reach that level. I think Khan has all the technical ability but not the chin to withstand the constant barrage of punches that would come his way. Enzo Macarranelli has his first fight since losing to David Haye in a couple of weeks, with Audley Harrison on the undercard!!!

Its Johan Elmander
I agree he isn't a 12-15 goals a season player - but he could create that many for a quality striker. Would rather sign him +1 than Elmander, Baros and Saha.

Its Johan Elmander
My mistake, I must have dreamt all that talk of signing strikers.....

Give your head a shake - who wuldn't welcome him back with open arms!! Imagine him playing in the hole!!!

Boxing...2 Points
I find that hard to believe. Have you ever seen even an amateur boxer have a fight with the average fella? It's embarrassing how easily they win. They see your punch from a mile off and can hit you 3 times before you blink.

Boxing...2 Points
Gomez is a human punchbag these days. Got all the heart in the world but not got the power or the speed to trouble Khan. To be honest I think Gomez should have retired by now, he's be in some wars and this could be trouble for him. He's not exactly evasive and he has too much heart to stay down when he's hurt. Khan in the 4th I reckon.
