...and podge/macca to sort summat- i am looking to hold a game one sunday in late april/may for charity. allstars versus M28 region, dukesgate fields. one of the lads who plays for the dukes (a bolton fan) broke his leg the day after eduardo, may not play again- his leg is basically fucked. we are trying to raise some funds to get him some exercise equipment to help his rehabilitation. this lad scored the two goals in the last allstars v 'yoof' game. the older generation are probably very familiar with his old man (messrs mcgoogle and mr hunt), he was about in guimares, munich, and madrid... a lot of you will know him, but i dont think he is a regular poster... anyhow, i propose an 11-a-side game, at the dukesgate (just through farnworth for the least cultured of us ) date tbc, A TENNER A MAN... i am looking to raise about ?500 in total, c'mon lads, i know some in here are not shy about putting their hands in their pockets ... lets have a kickabout, a few beers, and try and get a mate playing again so whose up for it?
