It’s a resounding yes from me. From a national perspective I think the anti-vax brigade are a bunch of selfish self-centred twots who’d happily watch someone take a fall for them whilst smirking from the sidelines. From a personal perspective it’s a balancing of risks and one I’m prepared to take. I’ve had mild proper flu once in my life and it was awful so no way do I want to risk something serious like this. I’ve got a bit of asthma and been told in no uncertain terms that I’d be a fool not to have anything I’m offered so get the flu jab every year and never been ill from it. The pneumonia one made me feel a bit crap for a few days and gave me a swollen “on fire” arm for a day. Made me think what the real deal would be like and fuck that ! I read somewhere (may have even been on here) about doctors waiting for the Oxford one before they had theirs and avoiding the Pfizer one - do those in the know think that’s bollocks ? I guess it’s horse 💩 Any side effects reported yet from people who’ve had it ?

I wonder if abandoning the school year and starting again in September has been considered ? Still going in when it’s safe but would relieve the pressure. Raise the leaving age to 17 and the starting age by a year and slowly phase it back in the future if need be. edited to say now that I think about it probably unworkable !

Remember when I had a problem down below and was desperate to see a GP - receptionist asked if I minded if it was a female as she was the only one free. Wasn’t bothered and greeted by a buxom young stunner (36dd minimum at a guess). Showed her my gooch and she gasped in shock then stick her finger up my arse. Some people would pay for that.

Would a practice not be better run by a businessman rather than a medical practitioner?
