  1. Shame. Have it made into furniture and auction it off for charity.
  2. They already have an agreement to send them back to whichever eu country they came from. Just couldn't be bothered really using it. Hopefully, this will work more effectively. Time will tell. If we quickly adopt a similar approach, Starmer can send ours back, and gain a modicum of support...
  3. An interesting article here- NiC will love it. All about the dosh; fuck fans. There have been games with loads of empty seats, and there are plenty of articles about it, it's just that it doesn't matter to FIFA.
  4. At half time, when the debate started, he had been poor. Not the only one, and it was perfectly reasonable to be questioning him. It's not the first time he has gone missing neither. Nevertheless, in the second, they were all good and no complaints from anyone.
  5. Don't do wine? Shocker; such a huge variety, there's something for everyone.
  6. Talent spotting whilst on holiday at the world cup. Brilliant idea. That Iraqi striker caught the eye, great header too.
  7. In that big win against Sunderland a few years back, there was a sensational team goal. One of the later ones in the game, and not sure who finished it, but it was a goal of beauty.
  8. Absolutely. Clearly she wouldn't have done so well without knowledge and capability, but such a carte blanche statement is daft. It isn't just "us" on here that have been critical neither, so does he mean no one in the entire country? Anyway, it's all a bit of humour aimed at something that was cack.
  9. That doesn't mean someone else who isn't doing what she does isn't as knowledgeable, which is what you stated. She won't get anywhere near managing in the men's game neither, so an unreasonable comparison. Fwiw, I've always thought she is very good as a pundit and comes across as decent. That doesn't mean she can be free from criticism- look at the bile spouted about just about every pundit. They are men, so it isn't a sexism related set of comments, which I sense may be behind your comments. The greatest example of equity is being able to criticise women equally to men, and compliment them likewise. As for the programme, that chalkboard was dreadful and whoever thought it would be a good idea was way off the mark.
  10. Rogers has also done well and scored. Bellingham has to keep that level up (as do the team with the tempo) and not drift in and out
  11. He isn't. Just needs to show that more often.
  12. That's better. Someone put a rocket up his arse.
  13. Which there hasn't been. We can all see that there is room for improvement. France were pants in the first half the other day, and got rightly criticised. The assistant (Barry)has just been very open and clearly very unhappy- was that an overreaction too?
  14. Just been saying this. We've looked a bit suspect to balls over the top, and both goals conceded have seen them with a little bit too much time in midfield to pick the pass. I just feel Rogers offers the team a more all round performance. He's done really well in Bellingham's absence, yet the chap comes straight back in. Far from the end of the world though, and shouldn't focus on the negatives.
  15. Yes, think he might be worth a go. If we'd thought about who to keep a couple of months in, he would have been picked above our main man. Just had a reversal of fortunes. He did bag some important late goals off the bench too. We are also requiring new wide players, and who knows maybe a slight difference in approach, which may suit him.
  16. Aye, I realised you meant generally. To be honest, it's commendable that you made the point, as I think it's one of those points that would be seen as a bit "taboo" in the media. You could imagine the outcry in certain quarters. But you are absolutely right, it would be entirely wrong to operate in a reactionary way.
  17. Couple of million should seal the deal.
  18. I agree in general. This fella has always spoken sensibly about the situation though. Neither a "don't look back in anger" response or an explosive reaction. Just thoughtful and measured.
  19. Will the dodgy lawyers be licking their lips?
  20. All their uk sweets have animal free gelatin. Must be a bugger looking through ingredients every time.
  21. He'd torpedo our chances for sure
  22. I wasn't aware England had reached the world cup final in Qatar! Nor even the semi final. Sliding doors.
  23. I wonder if there is actually anyone else there! Any road, just ignore him.
  24. Absolutely. Just watched the Iraq highlights. By christ did they cause some problems for Norway's defence. A lot of naivety in their own back line too. I'm not so sure Norway will be as strong as their initial billing on that showing. It was only highlights though.
