  1. 3 sent off for each side. Mass brawl in the 96th minute, and game effectively abandoned. Nil-nil at the time, and result to stand.
  2. Our gradual run has seen us leapfrog our nearest run, and largely overcome their games in hand. In most seasons, you'd be confident of overcoming a points deficit, but the top teams simply haven't let up. Fair play to them.
  3. Indeed. My other half filled up Sunday. No doubt plenty of others will do too, so that will drain stocks of the "cheaper" fuel even quicker.
  4. Not quite China's newly developed Ytterbium based fibre laser.
  5. Which they aren't being allowed to do. None of them are "canon fodder" neither. We don't treat our servicemen that way. Anyone that joins nevertheless understands that there may be times when they have to fight. This isn't about kissing Trump's arse, but about defending nations around Iran, its people, as well as our own. Too many looking at it through Trump hate spectacles, which whilst understandable, doesn't reveal the full picture.
  6. Klingon. For the most part, I wouldn't trust any of them. Nevertheless, the current situation requires standing with others. Even the frogs have/are sending a carrier, and they're usually last to a party.
  7. The latest design of GM stealth technology.
  8. Far better he was. If he told Trump he was a dementia riddled, money grabbing crook, we'd all give him a round of applause. He won't though.
  9. Whilst ignoring the best interests of his nation? Way behind on every decision. Even if he didn't want to commit to offensive action, he should have allowed bases to be used. Nothing to do with being America's poodle, but doing what's right by us, the wider area, and Iran's people who want the regime gone. Akrotiri should have been better protected. Been thinking about sending a naval boat, which may now be on its way. Sovereign territory has been attacked, and he still won't do anything. Meanwhile, naval personnel in Portsmouth are scathing in off the record comments. That's after already pissing off special forces, and senior figures all over for not upping spending quick enough. He has the backbone of a jelly fish, and is pandering to his faltering base and backbenchers. Even Qatar now has its F15s up and in action, defending their territory and attacking Iranian military sites. Interestingly, flight radar has the fewest planes I've even seen over the whole region. Nothing over Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq and Iran itself. Apart from the odd tanker or fighter. Looks like Iran is getting more of a pummelling.
  10. "No Churchill". I reckon trump's piss had already boiled beforehand when SKS said no. It's the PM's turn now- he won't be happy with that comment, and others. He shouldn't be, its not really how countries' leaders should behave. Nevertheless, it's Trump, and they will have been waiting for the rebuke. SKS behaviour is also not that of a country's leader. They should meet up at the club shop.
  11. How many have we lost? Yes we will need to do better to go up, but that's because of poor results elsewhere.
  12. Going to be some fixture pile up.
  13. My thinking too, although a win either way is OK. Cardiff recently got battered, and another loss may introduce some nervousness.
  14. It is very annoying, though not surprising. Would imagine it will go up more too.
  15. Very much the problem now. Even walking on it can be damaging. When you can, consider spiking and application of top dressing. Get it down to the root zone, and rake level. Moss killer and scarification too. Makes huge difference.
  16. Why is it? That terrorism is here, on our streets. In various guises. Even if it is felt we've haven't can't offer much in terms of offensive effort, then having naval cover as protection should be the minimum. That terrorism has seen many thousands killed internally. That terrorism is and has been missiles capable of striking Europe, and the will to use them. What on earth is weird about wanting to stop that, and protect others and ourselves? Anything else is fingers in the ears indifference at best, and appeasement at worst.
  17. I saw a number of those stratotankers were in the air, and some over Jordan. One RAF support aircraft too. One BA (iirc) commercial aircraft heading from and to Heathrow too. It has recently landed back. Will need a fair few more.
  18. Rather her than him! Anyway, it's yet another example of his stupidity. Together with an illustration of just how pointless the UN is becoming.
  19. Just shows how the mind doesn't function very well when you've not eaten or drunk anything for a while.
  20. That wants clamping down on ASAP.
  21. Way of the world! Just extend it too half an hour, and everyone can fuck off for rice n three. 😀
  22. I'm sure they don't- always just estimates based on intelligence. In a way the numbers aren't the key factor. Destroy the launchers and it doesn't matter.
  23. British citizens illegally held by a tyrannical regime. Why not, when there is the biggest military build up in the region, meaning the place is about to go to ratshit. Stupid to go in the first place of course, but doesn't justify their incarceration. Wouldn't expect our PM to give a fuck like. He'd rather ignore reality, and pander to the wets.
  24. Do you not think they did know their locations. At least largely? Part of the months long plan development. Many are dug into caves. Launchers appear, shoot and return. They have been degraded incredibly quickly, but there simply isn't enough firepower to remove all of it at once. Several thousand ballistic missiles alone, with many more drones. Takes time.
  25. The comparative low numbers of interceptors was known about. Another reason why action was needed now. Reportedly they were making around 100 ballistic types per month. Fundamental reason why initial strikes were to destroy defensive missile systems together with ballistic missile systems. Sadly, our coward wouldn't help, then conveniently changes his mind when missiles start hitting neighbouring states. Something which was also expected to happen- simply part of the regime's play book. RAF Akrotiri apparently has virtually no air defence missile systems on it, and we have few surface to air missile carrying naval vessels available, and none sent to provide cover just in case. It'll all be right though, our lawyer will just negotiate an agreement that the terrorists will simply shake on and abide by. History will not look favourably on our PM.
