Getting there.

I certainly do. Tremendous with ham and mushrooms. Only use for the big nut is when making curries with the cream. And feeding to birds.

ENGLAND V PANAMA
Not good again. Sick of inverted wingers against a deep defence. Evatt ball again. Surely we'll pick up the pace second half. Defence has been shaky too.

This Weather.....
It's pissing down for the second time this afternoon. Hopefully not reflective of the post match mood. That said, I'm absolutely delighted that it's raining. Proper summer rain.

If I tap the little paper clip icon it takes me to a means of insertion, but won't then allow anything to upload.

Me too. I made this comment previously and it was suggested to clear cookies or something. Cleared out search history etc, and it made absolutely no change whatsoever.

All bounties should be banned. As indeed should any foodstuff that incorporates coconut.

Not Evatt really.

Revisit the numbers, and in particular CO² emissions. There is a good reason warming is continuing.

Meanwhile In England
Over the years there have been various reports of poor quality IT systems- and that is sometimes the new ones that turn out to be unfit for purpose. Last time I had a scan by the msk people- arranged by gp service to save time for hospitals- the subsequent appointment in orthopaedics was a waste of time as their system couldn't correspond with the msk system, so had to have another scan in the hospital. To many chiefs and no Indians. Hugely wasteful.

Did occur to me did that. I suppose a temporary shrinkage would be worth it for a genuine bit of cooling.

I don't understand that. Why won't it work, when compared with any other system? So long as our players can be effective in whatever system we use, then that's all that matters. Flexibility will be another feature, clearly, and judicious acquisitions will allow that.

Vermin Control
Intelligent birds with an evil streak. Used to do the grass in a quadrangle at an old folks home. In spring, we'd find headless starling chicks on the floor- magpies would pluck them from the nests.

The other day, m-i-l saw a rat in her garden, and then saw a can on the fence watching it. Shortly after, she found the rat dead on the doorstep! Not even her cat. One of each perhaps.

This Weather.....
I vaguely remember it. Long days of sunshine, and playing out. Difficult to compare though, with being 50 years older! Last year or two I've found the heat that bit more difficult to contend with. Briefly stepped onto my drive earlier with only socks on my feet- within seconds I could feel the heat being given off and had to leg it back in. Definitely dangerous for dogs to be walking on the pavements like this.

Brilliant pen!

This Weather.....
Spot on. During that storm a little while back, although we missed out on the good stuff, we had a period of a few minutes where the wind really picked up, and changed direction readily. The cooling effect was ace, but it disappeared as quickly as it came. I've watched loads of videos of tornadoes in the US, and these sudden wind changes are typical of thunder storms. I guess we tend not to have such severe systems over here that brew into something much worse. It's been awful today though- would have loved some rain.

If those comments about Watson are entirely how he feels, then presumably we have other midfielders on the radar. The level he has been playing at is higher that what our current ones have been. They may be seen as capable of stepping up and preferred starters, but I'm far from convinced that is the case. I'm intrigued to know how the pitch to the player went, as I doubt SS convinced him to quit the SPL with "I see you as one for the future..." Can't help feeling SS is taking pressure off-particularly with his comments about Conway.

ENGLAND V PANAMA
Possibly mainoo- some game experience. Rice continued the other day, when Anderson went off, but sort of slipped into Anderson's role. He isn't the same player there, and it didn't really work- he's better pressing further forward and making things happen. That's why I think Rogers will come in, especially against a defence that will more than likely sit deep again. Leave Anderson to do what he does.

Aye, brilliant! Deliberate or naive?

Amazing when full facts are reported. Still, plenty want to be selective when making a point, which in turn just makes more folk suspicious of claims/science etc. Longer terms trends are a far better indicator. It is nevertheless bloody hot, and feels worse today than any this week.

Looks like Gonzo might be getting wet fairly soon! Big storm between scousers and mancs, with some hits further north, including Lytham.

Can't you buy him a cat or two?

Deniers are stupid. At the same time, spending council money on fashionable statements and policies are pointless unless they actually achieve something. Purely virtue signalling just makes opposition grow. There are easy wins available, that may actually save money too in the long run, but authorities have mixed approaches to actually doing them.

So long as they only use green energy, they're fine. Wondering how many actually have signed up for a green tariff? Anyway, there are plenty that don't deny the climate is getting warmer, they just refuse to say it's man made and say its just a cycle. Bit of a bollocks argument, as is that spouted by full on deniers, but you'll never convince everyone.
