  1. Seeded an area well over a month ago, just a few now sprouting. Like a desert elsewhere. Can we ha e some warmth please.
  2. No doubt, and the latter part is indeed a disgrace. But your first sentence mentions 'that particular situation'. Ultimately the police didn't wholly make it, perhaps a whole range of factors were responsible. I remember vividly footage at the time showing a policeman imploring fans to move back as a crush was forming. Fans contributed to this. No malice undoubtedly but nevertheless they were there. Remember years ago being at Blackpool on boxing day. Thousands of us, still trying to get in at half time. Kettled in a narrow back Street. It was bloody uncomfortable as it was inside the ground. Yes poor setup etc., but also made worse by a number of dick heads getting pissed off and shoving etc. Thankfully nothing serious happened. Unfortunately it did at Hillsborough. RIP the 96.
  3. Oldham's statement means naff all. Just setting the compo stall out.
  4. Ian Brady was known to have been interested in the machinations of the Marquis de Sade. Them bloody frogs.....
  5. Kante for me. Does the hard yards with no fuss. Mahrez disappeared for weeks up until yesterday. Still it's usually the goal scorers that get the recognition.
  6. The majority of managers start off with a poor-ish record. Start off low down collie a manager's sacking. Therefore a club not doing too well. They then have to learn and gain experience. Brown and Sheridan have both done that.
  7. Flying rescue helicopters and donating salary to charity is not exactly parasitic. True there's a large number of them, but I'm sure many keep there efforts quiet.
  8. No,but not sure their chairman would think it a good idea, unless sunbed got mates rates.
  9. If he has a house near the ground he'd stop there surely? Either way, can't see his players being overly impressed.
  10. Only know first initial-R. Probably says everything that we don't know his surname. Used to be a wicketkeeper, no doubt knew his stuff, but no affinity with kids. Very competitive would be better with adults I reckon. Wasn't really interested, texting and smoking whilst umpiring under elevens. Swearing and slagging kids off for not doing well. Didn't stamp out if the kids started having a go at each other. FFS they are primary kids learning the game and getting used to a proper hard ball. Supposed to be fun, they not flintoffs yet! Anyhow he's gone now. Kids were far happier, and my lad was buzzing instead of crying and feeling humiliated.
  11. Saw some of that program last night. Shaped very much by the war years. A good un. Gstq
  12. What a shambles. What's with the opposition standing there? Just go and warm up.
  13. Fair play to him, but as said above, play Holding and Derik, may be next year's partnership.
  14. You are looking through those rose cunted spectacles though. However you may be right about next season
  15. Exactly. Easy life.
  16. Lad's just played his first game of the season (under eleven). Struggled with nerves and his coach swearing at him last season. The cunt has gone now, but to help with his confidence, I told him he'd score his first ever runs, and I'd give him two quid for each run up to five then a pound a run after. He scored ten! Chuffed to bits for him. The bat we got from WW has served him well!
  17. They can fook off with their mini bins for sure. Going to be shit everywhere. Albeit there already is
  18. NL said he left Celtic as the pressure/stress got to him. Reckon he feels it was a cake walk now.
  19. Don't waste the ingredients for a good cake. Bags of faeces will suffice
  20. Terrible. Properly funny lady. At least SJM was back on form
  21. Cracking result against a good team. The tail batting well for lancs yesterday was fantastic, and laid the foundations for the win.
  22. He isn't actually as Leicester fan, just attended a few of their games which upset some supporters, so they swapped him. Fair enough I suppose. He's actually a Bristol city fan; which isn't.
