Manchester is shit for drinking. Not enough good bars in close proximity, too far to wander round for a decent pub crawl. Leeds is far better for boozing Imo.

Fair comments. As a majority sure a lot would dip off again, that unfortunately is the nature of the beast at every club. Some will start coming and be fans for life etc etc. Its a numbers game but Id like to think regardless the club would be seen to do a good thing and appreciated by most. The argument on if its fair on s/t holders is a tricky 1 Imo. Some would be adamant they deserve the best deal all the time, some would appreciate more bums on seats and a better atmosphere, fuller stadium etc. I just feel we will never organically grow our crowds to what they were in in the early 00's without a bit of give and take and some decent marketing (performances too of course)

If it gets people back on board I personally have no issue with it, can only be good long term.

I think its an equally poor do from the 'fuck em' minded folk as the ones moaning. I think everyone should get a clean slate and hopefully decide to come back to games (up to them if they do) I don't get the 'we only need the hardcore' theory either as we clearly need more money generating. At the same time if people have had enough for whatever reason, its a shame but life moves on!
