  1. You have pm
  2. I have Virgin 200mbs at home, and unsurprisingly it works well. In Menorca we have Wi-Fi running at around 7 to 10mbs and 98% of the time it works well - occasional freezing. You can tweak the buffer size etc. and it helps. Overall we are very pleased with it. Takes an ethernet cable or a wireless dongle. Has a USB port so you can play your own stuff direct from USB. The supplier we use allows catch-up on the 'main' channels - and I THINK you can record to USB but never really tried.
  3. To what questions?
  4. Done
  5. Hi, you get all the Sky HD and BT HD channels, plus some of the other sports channels in HD You get a menu showing the selection of 'channels' where you can scroll up and down to select, i.e. Entertainment, UK Sports, All Sports, etc. At the bottom there is a menu for TV/Movies/Settings etc. Choose a channel and you scroll through the programs with an in screen preview. Images attached
  6. Have a Mag254 with IPTV - pay £25 for 3 months and paid around £60 for the box from Amazon. 100's of channels, 100's of films, live football, naughty channels the lot. Miles better than KODI as you get an EPG and don't have to hunt. Was blocked by Sky on Saturday though for the Joshua fight - although is fine now. Got an email for the bloke we get the IPTV off if anyone wants it? Been using it for about 12 months - spot on.
  7. Last couple of years I have flown to Seattle when the clocks have gone back. So added to a time difference of 10 hours, and a long flight, you feel even more crap!
  8. Stayed here last time we went - nice hotel a couple of minutes walk from St Marks Square. If you want a great meal (but not cheap ) try The Antico Marini
  9. Great day - thought Pratley was immense. Enjoy a nice unbiased report of the game at http://www.fleetwoodtoday.co.uk/sport/football/fleetwood-town/match-report-fleetwood-2-bolton-4-1-8433980
  10. Phillip Island - http://www.visitphillipisland.com/ and William Ricketts Sanctuary http://parkweb.vic.gov.au/explore/parks/william-ricketts-sanctuary-gardens-of-the-dandenongs both worth a visit
  11. I saw Ben E King there, and Bob and Earl when Jackie Lee was one of the duo. He was at the bar and ordered a treble whisky. I was still in the 6th form at BCGS and it impressed me
  12. Was also an annex for the County Grammar, and had the best juke box in the world at that time
  13. Fixtures for next season now available in outlook format. 1) go to https://1drv.ms/u/s!AptNt-jefw0dqKtZTdjqUYY4qUI2cQ for Office 2007/2010/2013/2016, and this should automatically download the file bwfc2015-2016.vcs to your default download location. 2) In outlook do File>Import And Export>Import an iCalendar or vCalendar file. Don't double-click on the file or you will only get the first fixture (Outlook problem - not mine) 3) Click on 'Next' 4) Change the file type to vCalender format(*.vcs) in the 'Files of type' box, and select the file you saved (bwfc2015-2016.vcs) Hopefully, your new fixtures should be imported into Outlook Any problems, I'm sure somebody will let me know Cheers
  14. We were favourites to go down last year before the season started - which I thought was total bollocks. That is why the bookies are far richer than I am
  15. Only got the trial yesterday late afternoon, but apparently yes. There are channels from all over Europe, so Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark who I think show live games. Subscription I looked at doesn't do catchup or recording, but I believe the more expensive ones do - just setting up a trial with another which is £60 for 6 months Appear to be some 'VIP' channels one of which is currently showing Spuds/Saints
  16. OK - will reply to my own post. Bought a MAG 254 box (£65), and got a trial of IPTV prior to taking the plunge of a 6 month subscription for watching in foreign climes. Box is small, and you get a remote control. Got a free trial - get all the UK channels, including the sports from both suppliers, movies etc. Also hundreds of films, plus channels from all over the world. Found a 6 months subscription on eBay for £35 which is a bargain. Don't have to look for the best stream, machine boots into TV guide, and you just pick your program, just like 'real' telly. Also loads of 'adult' channels included, but not looked at those (yet). First impressions are it's the mutts nuts! I have a really fast broadband here, but apparently it only needs 5/7 mbs for decent streaming.
  17. Can't wade through 27 pages and search doesn't work for me - anyone any experience of MAG250 boxes and IPTV? Thanks
  18. Just come back from the funeral - great turn out and a really lovely service. First time I have ever heard 'The Wanderer' and 'Rocking all over the World' played to accompany the coffin in and out. Lots of Bolton shirts, and a fair scattering of United, City and Liverpool shirts.
  19. Been coming in the Kings Head for the last few years - married Lynda the ex-landlady last July. Saw him at many an away match - loved a pre-match pint - or three. RIP Pete
  20. Don't think sunbed would be a good idea - but don't know who I would want, just who I wouldn't want. A 'league 1' team looking for a manager is a whole different thing than a newly relegated premiership club looking for a manager.
  21. Back to Celtic
  22. Keep your eyes on the web site - 2 days before the game, season ticket holders, who aren't going, tickets are sold by the club
  23. Please can you make sure you spell check your posts - I don't think it is 'The Count'
  24. I think as far as the players are concerned, it is another Freedman situation. Rotherham was a disgrace - Blackburn gave us some pride back - First 20 minutes today we played well - then it was a disgrace again. The 2nd goal, Mark Davies looked as though he couldn't give a shit and just let the player go past him. I have been a great advocate of Neil Lennon - thought it was a great appointment, but I don't think the players want to play for him, as they didn't for Freedman. I don't think he will resign though, and can we afford to sack him. I would give Jiminio the job for the rest of the season (if he would take it) So disappointed after today More beer needed
  25. Always has been IMHO
