I was suprised not to be getting share certificates in some places, after getting 2 beers. Not cheap (which capital city is), but a fabulous city.

Is it not true if you get a meter, you can't go back. So if all the kids have left, and you have a 4 bedroomed house that you then go on to sell, the people buying have to keep the meter? I know if makes sod all difference to you, but may make it harder to sell?

My father-in-law has a disabled badge. Parked in Bolton One, in a disabled bay, to go for an x-ray. Came out to discover a ticket on his windscreen. Turns out that you can park in a disabled bay with a badge, but still needs to pay. So, £25 poorer, he now knows. Mind you, it did take them 6 minutes after he parked to issue the ticket - bastards!
