I agree with that and diversity is a good thing for any society. I think TR is a self-publicist, no doubt, but do believe his heart is in the right place. Viewing things from his perspective for a second I think it's easier to see his ire and where it comes from fwiw I don't see the value in naming any peoples by their race or ethnic origin but there you go. If you get rid of any semblance of AS culture though and remove it from the lexicon but keep others, say Indian or Caribbean, then you're only gonna upset a large swathe of folk - that's what I was getting at.

What's better then, British culture? White culture? Not trying to be a nob or owt but what would you call traditional British culture then - or English? I mean I agree it's old terminology but then folk are happy with black, Asian or whatever else culture as terms. Does white culture not exist? If anything 'Anglo Saxon' culture has shown to be the most democratic inclusive and (one of the most) diverse in the world . . .

From my end aye, but I do tend to read sports news feeds before any other so probably not got a wide perspective on it. Either way, it's still under-reported imo. I get the impression that the mainstream media are under recommendation to not turn it into a race thing - as I say, I get why but it so often is in similar circumstances. I'm sure you get where I'm coming from? Wasn't there a link on here a while back showing that the press largely ignore racist crimes against whites compared to acts against non-whites. Again, it's just the balance I'm after and a true reflection of what's going on.

I think everyone would agree that were the trend of grooming gangs perpetrated by white working class males raping and abusing under age Muslim girls the media attention would be a lot different. They are focusing on whites or Sikhs far as I can tell; that suggests a racial/religious element to me which, frankly, I've never heard mentioned once in the media . . . I understand the reasons why that is the case, not sure I agree though; but I think what TR is doing is trying to highlight things that the mainstream media under-report. I'm no TR fan but to have a pop for him trying to shed light on this seems a bit odd to me. If he's filming folk in a jury though then he needs to have a word with himself
