Spatchcocking A Chicken
Will cook better on the bbq spatch cocked unless you have a rotisserie. These days I dispense with chicken on the bbq and just buy a load of asda plain chicken wings, chop off the end bits and coat em in my home made rub. I then pile up up the coals one side and put on one of those smoker trays full of wood chips once the coals are really hot. The wings are spread out on the other side and I then put the lid down and leave for 30 mins. Belting! Crispy and smoked on the outside, juicy on the inside. Have to have a barrel bbq though.

Meanwhile In Germany
1.2 million according to the Guardian, though most were economic migrants. EU commission reckons Europe will have 3 million of these by end of 2017. This guy was unaccompanied minor on entering and was placed with a foster family. We need to invoke article 50 before these lot get EU passports.

Life On The Road - Depressing
Worked in and around Hull last August. Also used to leave Rossendale at around 6am, get through to the Services at the A1M intersection and have a brew. Piece of piss after that point. Used to arrive in Beverley at around 8:10. Would hate to be doing it on a daily basis though.

Just watched Angela Eagle and Owen Smith on the Andrew Marr show. The labour party is truly fucked.

Turkey Coup
Before our recent vote we were told no way. Since then it seems like it has been always on the cards, Merkel has done a deal. Lets get out before the swarm. This current president of Turkey is hell bent on turning them into another hard line muslim state.

On the subject of Cat Stevens or Yusuf Islam. We should hold back any judgement until we know if he has taken the "cricket test". If he has and has passed he can carry on doing the Lady D'Arbanville, if he failed then I'm afraid its a big fuck off atomic bomb on his head for me.

Next England Manager?
Totally agree. When the Argies return to the squad its like a home coming, they gel quickly and its like a long lost reunion and party. Unfortunately we don't have that so our model has to be different. Round pegs in round holes and a manager that motivates. Some years we will be shit and others better depending on player quality, trouble is we have spent 40 years trying to be something we are not. We wasted 2004 til now thinking we could play like Spain. We can hold the ball if we are confident but getting it forward quickly is not the bad option many think it is.

A plus one from me. That is what Sam would install. Like Italy, be organised at the back no matter how poor your players are and then go from there. That way you liberate the 3 or 4 forward players.

Pokemon Go
I withdrew and shot a load over pikachu when wifey forgot her pill. It happened to be on her pillow for some reason. Is this the same thing?

Recent Filums I've Watched
I passed on Legend as just another Kray film and there have been so many films and documentaries this last 20 years. I relented and watched it the other night. Fuck me what a entertaining take on it! Was 9/10 for me. Tom Hardy played both brothers brilliantly especially Ron. Some of the lines had me in stitches and came from the Derek and Clive genre of comedy. This passage had me in tears: Angelo Bruno: [to Reggie] I'm glad we could make a deal. [to Ronnie] Angelo Bruno: You should come to Philly some time. You see what you want ad we'll get it for you. Any shape any size. A nice Italian girl, huh? [Nudges Ronnie] Angelo Bruno: A little spaghetti and meatballs...? Ronald Kray: I prefer boys. Angelo Bruno: Come again? I didn't get that. Ronald Kray: I prefer boys. Italian. or even Greek. [the room goes quiet] Ronald Kray: But I'm not prejudiced, I've had Negroes. I even had Tahitian once, who I bent up like a pretzel, yeah, I really fucking hurt him... [Am uncomfortable pause, Bruno suddenly bursts out laughing] Angelo Bruno: You got some fucking balls on you, kid! That takes a lot of guts to admit that. Bravo, kiddo! [Looking around] Angelo Bruno: Huh? Am I right? Bravo! Courtesy of Brian Helgeland.

They are sunni. The shiiters are the ones from southern iraq backed by Iran who are fighting isis on the ground. However, fighting might be a loose term. Its seems to be a mixture of attacking or running away depending on the time of year. I think you are safe with the feet thing as both do it. The two sects just hate each other because of some ancient disagreement on which of two cousins took over from Mo.

Next England Manager?
Hrmm. So BSA should sit them down in the dressing room and tell em they are not as good as they think they are before they go out to play? I don't think Conti et al did that.

New Party Leaders.
Yes Labour lost it in England. It is likely given the boundary changes, Corbyn and the increasing popularity of Ukip that labour will lose even more seats in 2020.

Spot on! The analogy with NI does not add up. This ideology needs to be dismantled from within. We (the west) cannot do this whilst the rich saudi state promotes a lighter version of this claptrap. There are clerics in saudi even now who are free to sympathise publicly with the aims of ISIS because a world caliphate is laid down in the koran.

So are the Icelandic, Italians, Welsh and Portuguese (the latter two had one good un each). Organisation and motivation is the key.

Swedish prime minister and Cher? Typical of the recent barrel scraping of the Guardian.

Laser Eye Treatment
Anyone here had it done? Been wearing contacts for over 20 years and had a few issues of late. Seems to be a huge difference in price between various treatments (£1200 to £3000). I have an consultation with Optical Express in a week. Any advice would be appreciated before I get stuck into researching the different techniques?

Talk Sport
Liked Murray especially his Wednesday morning show with Dietmar Hamman. Got tired of his self indulgent world cup coverage though. Really liked Collymore, as I said on the other thread in the WC section, a proper football fan.
