  1. This feels a somewhat strange and alien experience!

Yep they were also whining about the GB rowing success. Perhaps they should have kept hold of Herr Jurgen Grobler when the wall came down. Obviously his pharmacological skills have been not been matched by the united German team.
  3. Very nice, but can he still do "Me Ol Bamboo" ?
  4. Surely the school itself should know? Do I get my free pint?
  5. Let me know what the Alex is like these days. Went there in 2003 , cost us a fortune for two rooms in August. This turned us onto Florida and Mexico for about the same total holiday cost and much better quality and more to do. My memory of Greece is that it is a beautiful place until you get back to your digs, then it is a third world shithouse with showers that drip on full power, no air conditioning and bogs always blocked ( not the Alex mind)
  6. Never bother us here in the hills. They are frightened of the locals me thinks, either that to the altitude!
  7. Walk in the park for Citeh. Think Hart is fucked, deservedly so. Think Aguero might lose his pen taking entitlement after two misses tonight.
  8. I am now taking a nice sip of red knowing this cunt will never be on my tv screen again antagonising the relatives of returning dead servicemen and women or spouting his verbal diarrhea on TV. We should never have heard his voice in the first place!
  9. Wife and daughter do that there London once or twice a year for the shows, always stay in Covent Garden. They always take in this Greek place, not sure if your kids would enjoy it if they are young though. Part of a London chain but they swear by this particular one. The Real Greek, 60-62 Long Acre, London WC2E 9JE 4 mins walk from Covent Garden.
  10. Sold some car detailing stuff a couple of months ago. Made it quite clear in the advert it was collection only due to the weight, awkward shape etc. Still got loads of requests to mail. Winning bid had the audacity to say he didn't realise it was collect, utter twats!

This omnium pursuit is ace. Her indoors naturally feels for those at the back who are ruled out. I reckon its down to schooling and equalisation of the egg and spoon and sack race.

Been in Manchester all day, just back in the be greeted by what looks like a soggy split beaver in the photo on the right. Are there not mods.

Good effort from Ennis but long jump let her down.

Aye but looks happy with his bronze given that the yank nearly won it with that last jump but left his hand in the sand. Good comp that with 4 in contention for gold right up until the last round.

Looks like Rutherford is gonna miss out, though Ennis could still pull it off. Farrah pisses it and manages to have a lie down half way through.
  16. Jack burn bottom and the big fat waiter seems lost in the championship. Best football and sports day for a long time.
  17. Second spot!
  18. Spiffing!
  19. Turning into a lovely gay sort of day in the old fashioned meaning of the word. Football, athletics, rowing, tennis and cycling all going rather splendidly well!
  20. Not a wanderers trip but my nearest. Used to travel stateside about 10 times a year in my job in the 1990's, booking everything myself and eventually got pretty blasé about it all. Was booked into conference in Washington DC so flew BA from Manchester to JFK and then ended up on an tiny American Eagle DHC-8 tiny propshaft effort with about a dozen people. We had to fly pretty low for some reason and got thrown around like fuck in the turbulence. Woman behind was in hysterics and one across the isle got violently sick and my right leg got pebbledashed. Worse experience of flying in my life and I was pretty shaken even though I considered myself an experienced passenger. As I exited Dulles airport I got out the conference programme to see a large fuck off liberty bell on the front of it. I was in the wrong fucking city.

Thanks for the advice. Just needed a ballpark to factor in to compare various window and soffit quotes I have. Phoned a local firm and they reckoned £250.00. Even at £500, using the lad from Leigh is a no brainer so I've given him the work. On the bamboo, I remember my first trips into China some 20 years ago and watching blokes working on bamboo scaffolding, looked like a good gust of wind would bring all the fuckers down.
  22. Have you been medically confirmed as suffering form IBS? If you have been positively diagnosed using The NICE guidelines for IBS 2008 then as Malc suggests you should have further tests to rule out anything else. These would include full blood count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) or plasma viscosity c-reactive protein (CRP) antibody testing for coeliac disease (endomysial antibodies [EMA] or tissue transglutaminase [TTG] Then I would advise you ask your doctor to see and consult with a dietitian that specialises in IBS and not simply a band 5 dietitian.

And the fact that they carry almost zero fat. Even so that was an incredible time. Its very rare to see a WR on the track at olympic games. No pace maker and its usually a cagy affair.
  24. Need to get a quote for front of house. Having new windows, soffits, gutters etc and got a great price from a lad from Leigh. I need to organise the scaffolding though. Anyone know the ballpark £ I should be looking at for a three storey building 25ft tall x 23 ft wide?
  25. Blokes with hankies are puffs.
