Biggest problem these days is that for disruptive kids to be excluded, they near on have to be murderers. Its these who ruin any school for the others. Only private schools are allowed to exert proper discipline in this modern age.

We did postal voting for the referendum, as we were going on holiday. First time we had done it. Crossed my mind how easy it would be to do the forced voting thing. I agree with your thoughts on stricter rules. People like me should have to individually go down to the local council offices ahead of the vote to register and vote.

Just been watching some of the heats in the pool. Didn't realise that there are 152 swimming events over two genders (with one mixed relay), across 14 classification and four strokes that will be contested during these games! I make that 17024 events, each with heats and finals. How the hell are they going that lot done and dusted in 10 days or am I missing something??!! Edit, they've just explained that many classifications don't have an event so it is only 152 events with heats and finals doh! Watching this I don't know how some of those fellas manage to float never mind swim 400 metres!

Dont do food bins around our way. Green for general, blue for recycling, grey for paper and brown for garden. All large unless you request a smaller one. Seems to work but I think most folk are a bit lax as what they put in the blue recycling until a couple of days before collection.

Every time I see media of the camps I see hordes of fit young well dressed men and women of mostly African or Middle Eastern descent. I consider them to be "economic migrants" who do not wish to stay in France as the work permits and ID requirements are more stringent. In the UK these lovely fellas can disappear into the black economy. If you take in your "10 refugees" please can you ensure you house them nowhere near me ta!
