I was stood behind Tyson Fury in the queue in a florists in Stockport once. The man is enormous! Then Jason Manford strolls in and we had a chat while waiting for the entire shop's staff to fill this massive van with mothers day flowers for Fury. Nice bloke was Jase.

According to Wikipedia he's 31 and plays for Cheshunt in the Isthmian Premier Division. Not been in the football league since 2021 with Oxford in L1.

I've been really impressed with him so far. Good pass on him, works hard and likes to put his foot in. We've been missing someone like him for a good while now, he needs to be one of the first names on the team sheet and I could see him with the armband in the future.

I do remember a period where we'd concede late goals soooo often. Really frustrating.

A bloke I work with is a Blackpool fan and is sorting me and a pal 2x tickets in the home end. We're thinking of going over to Winter Gardens after the game for the Ocean Colour Scene/Inspiral Carpets/Northside gig.

I remember going on the stadium tour before the start of the 98/99 season. The players actually had their training session on the pitch that day, so my brother and I were ball boys for it. We got pictures and autographs with Mark Fish, Gardner, Bob Taylor, Neil Cox, Branagan, Holdsworth and several others. It was an absolutely brilliant day. We even ended up playing head tennis in the changing rooms. Something like that for a 12 year old just helped to prove why BWFC is MY club. My Dad asked the tour guide (an older fella called Tom), "is Nat around?" as the great man was my Grandad's all-time hero and Mr Lofthouse actually left a meeting to come out and meet my Grandad and take a picture with him. What a legend. I still have the picture framed at home.

I saw P.O.D when they toured with Alien Ant Farm a few years back, they sounded good then so maybe you caught them on an off-day. Bullet should be a top gig - not been to the Co-Op yet but heard its a great venue!
