  1. Six players for me. Shit fan.
  2. I'll say it quietly, and they won't like it, but Warrington has a fairly high density and quality distribution of independent pie shops that shit on any ice had in and around Wigan.
  3. Huge game tonight, Cardiff's game in hand away at Barnsley. They lose that and we could really put the frighteners on when we rock up to their place if we're in touching distance. If they win though, probably means the end of our Autos hopes.
  4. I'm not reading back, out on the piss. But I bet the drama queens were out in force, wet wipes. FUCKING GET IN!
  5. I've said this has been coming for a while, the chances we create it was only a matter of time until we steamrolled someone. Hopefully this gives the forwards some confidence to keep it going into the playoffs.
  6. Abimbola scored for Accrington I see, I think that's his first for them, maybe even his first in professional football?
  7. Drama queens out again...
  8. Same story as most of our games this season, and more so since January, dominate games, tonnes of chances that we can't take early and then create problems for ourselves at the back. I'm still confident in how that pans out in a playoff environment but I'd definitely like to start to see us put teams to bed comprehensively before then. It's coming.
  9. Can I at least boo him just because he's a cunt?
  10. With all that being said, they have only lost once at home since August. We played well and yes on the balance of things had enough opportunities to win the game. But, a draw there is far from a shameful result.
  11. Doesn't really matter where in the Top 6 we finish, as long as we do and we finish the season in good form. I have every faith that we will finish strong, we're now playing some very very good stuff, just need to convert the pressure. That's easier to do that not creating anything at all.
  12. Good result that, not going to be enough to catch the top two but you can't let that take away from two very solid results against very tough opposition at their own places. Go in to the Playoffs like this and I give us a chance against anyone.
  13. Have that, you soft arse.
  14. 3rd in the league but not very good. Drama queens out in force again, absolutely delighted it hasn't gone our way so they can have a moan.
  15. Surprised there hasn't been subs before now to be honest, I know we've played well enough to win but something needed changing for the second half to unlock things more.
  16. Not been nervous like this for a game in a long time, don't know if I just have renewed vigor for the team because I actually like the man in charge or what, but I'm properly invested in this result. Win and I think Top 2 is well and truly on, pressure will be right on them not to slip up again. Anything else and it means another playoff run, but I do at least think we're much better suited to the challenge that brings now than we ever have been before. Almost mercifully, I'm at a wedding on Saturday so will likely only know the result after it happens, hopefully distract myself from the fact it's happening best I can!
  17. Yeah I'm lost on the Johnston waterworks, maybe something personal going on for him.
  18. Crikey, another second half that was harder than it needed to be, but for me that was more to do with them coming out with a point to prove rather than our performance dropping too far. Another good result though against some strong opposition so we keep on. Shame about other results that looked like they might be going out way early on though. Might just have to settle for Playoffs at this rate but if that's the case let's keep this up and go in looking imperious.
  19. 6th appearance in 4 months for a man that's paid for his position at the company he represents. But I'm lead to believe the BBC has a left wing bias?
  20. Left back does concern me with Conway still not back, not because I'm one of those that thinks Johnston is one of our worst ever, but I just think it leaves us very imbalanced. Not least against these as well, I know they're in a bit of a rutt and will be reeling from the Keillor-Dunn sale, but their strength is definitely on the wings with Cleary and now Banks added.
  21. Cringey AI slop. Best saved for Facebook that sort of tackle.
  22. It isn't. But, I appreciate the optimism, and I do think he'll be fine. Looks like he has good instincts and makes runs across defenders that our other options don't seem to.
  23. I tried to find another threat to try and hijack but unfortunately couldn't. I'm just after some advice really if anyone is more knowledgeable than me on fighting these things, but I parked in an ECP in Manchester back in September, I paid for the parking on an app but unfortunately it had an old reg saved and I didn't notice. So I've paid for the amount of time I was there but just for the wrong vehicle. Annoyingly around that time I was in the process of moving so all of the letters have been going to my old address so I've only this week received the correspondence from the parking company and ensuing debt collectors. Who have since rejected my appeal as apparently I'm now outside of that arbitrary window. Would anyone know what my next steps are or should be? Do I just wait for court stuff to arrive or have I got other avenues of appeals and complaints before then?
  24. Apparently Hardie won't be fit for possibly the next 6 weeks, and also receives specialist treatment for a long term back problem. No wonder Wrexham wanted shut permanently, and equally no wonder we went elsewhere.
  25. I must admit after Taylor's last display and apparent injury, I am surprised there hasn't been more focus on a left sided defender. In the Christie mould.
