Best starting 11 for me is made up of all the youth players who stepped up to play when the one we shall not speak about nearly ended our clubs existence.

Looks like we need to balance the books a little bit, I understand selling him, it's been mentioned above, he's older and we can get a few quid for him and hopefully reinvest it into the squad. I liked him, thought he did well for us, but onwards and hopefully upwards if he goes.

I think it should go to the league winner, FA cup winner and the other one that changes it's name every other season (milk/league/coca cola) cup. They have won something and should get three spots. But if course, it's all about making money, so the more they have in the better they see it.

I'm hoping that some of you lovely lot would like to indulge in a bit of fantasy squad building for next season. Realistically, who do you think we could sign or make a transfer offer for? I don't think TAA will be on our shortlist, but what additions would you realistically like to see?

It's going to be an interesting few months coming up. Hopefully Schumacher has a solid, real plan, a formation he wants to install and an ideology that works. Get them in early for training, work those fundamentals and learn to be brick walls in defense, someone mentioned it in a different post about it being a shit league and the ones at the top defending like MFers and scraping a 1-0. He's been and done it before withe Argyle, he knows what it takes and what's needed, I just hope he's able to get the players in and the right mindset for the ones he's stuck with to pull it off.

It's hard to believe that this squad a year ago got to Wembley and beat quite a few good teams and smashed a few more in the process. I think too much over analyzing could have taken place since SS came in. Should have stayed with the core that slapped Birmingham and rotated the tired players, but then again, I'm just a fan with no coaching qualifications or insight into training each week. If you're a "world class" manager, you shouldn't be shackled to one formation, you play to your squads strength and if that means changing formation, then surely they should be able to adapt?
