been out in mansfield before, good night i remember, loads of pubs around the market. never been to doncaster but... a jolly boys outing sounds good, hope its as good as the trip to reading...
  9. Ive not read a report on saturdays farce but here is an alternative view! Arriving at Reading theatre after 5 and a half hours with 3 wise men had been a painful ordeal but parking the carrage seemed ok. First views of the 'stadium' were that of amusement. On commenting that the ground was shit a war of words comenced. "oh no it isnt" followed by "oh yes it is" was sounded until the biggest boy threatened the other boys walking up to the entrance doors. Once in the theatre the audience sporting mostly blue and white striped uniforms squeeled with excitement singing jolly songs towards other sections of the theatre in areas where seats were still available, this roudy older crowd sporting maroon uniform responded in a way of upset and seemed they had been boozing at the back of the bus on the way! On stage a bald greek cinders pranced around centre stage with white slippers and seven other characters, dopey, grumpy, lazy etc also played bit parts, as well as this, one of the three little pigs at the top of the stage got booed by the children every time he went to the ball! The big black wolf in stripes at the back of the stage had a huge part often looking up to the lights but feeling very happy. The maroon crowd didnt shout 'he's behind you' to the bean stalk as a lepricorn was behind him and sent the audience wild with delight. The fat geenie off stage rubbed his lamp which in turn didnt seem to work as the audience in maroon thought and soon after the wicked step mother in black brought the production to an end. To boot a nasty giant had left a message in a yellow packet on the carrage asking for golden coins, 35 of them happy christmas!!!
