Just got back, left Exeter at 9.00 and had 1 stop for half an hour so not bad going at all, first half we played quite well but second half a lot poorer, you could see the tiredness in the players who played on Sunday but the resilience pulled us through. Thomason was lucky he didn't injure himself trying to kick the ball away (which he got booked for) just a stupid thing to do. Every pub we went in had Exeter fans congratulating us on beating Plymouth, fuck me there is some hatred there. Had an issue with our hotel, we got there at 8.00pm on Thursday to be told "this hotel is closed, go away" by 2 big Eastern European security men, we booked it in October and the cheeky fuckers took my money on Tuesday and said we had to pay £8 for 2 nights parking. Apparently it's well known that the place has been housing migrants for the past month and Booking.com had no idea.

Would have been nice to see you.

They weren’t letting anyone in for around 30 mins, around 9PM.

Massive kick off outside and police vans & statements taken.

Just local dickheads, not football related.

Great weekend though.

Me and Vinnie were disappointed we didn't get to have a beer with you, some decent pubs there though, as you say it was a good weekend

Lots of people do, you're right. Same applies.

If it was just the odd occasion, and/or some humour associated with it, then no one would be bothered.

However, when it been over a decade of senseless bile at every opportunity, then folk will react.

If he gets off on that, then as I say, something lacking.

Has clearly got “issues”.

Needs to be banned.

Just block him so you only see it when someone quotes.

If everyone does the same then nobody sees anything.

Only returning the bantz innit. Great win for you guys

The flag on way to Morecambe was kind of tinpot stunt the greesyuns would pull though.

Every club has fans who think they’re funny, not the type of thing someone over 20 would do hardly

Walking from ground to car park down towards a large roundabout, a rather gobby Exeter supporter who should’ve known better suddenly decided to have a go at Bolton supporters. He loudly exclaimed he was sick of all this cosying up to the ‘Norvern Monkeys’ just because they’d beaten Plymuff!

Most Bolton fans were very visible because of the weather rendering coats and jumpers unnecessary so if it’d kicked off we’d be sitting ducks. Fortunately, almost every Exeter fan in the immediate area, both older end and yoof, told him to fuck off and grow up. I must admit, I thought I was going to end up in a bit of a battle.

🥰 Can you not just accept some people have different views to your own?

Im only going to post once on this

I agree that it seems redcliffe the pink needs a scapegoat but hes allowed his opinion just as much as you

Fwiw, i disagree with most of his football opinions and definitely think offering folk out is pathetic

But if you want this place to work, say why hes wrong, dont call him a mong

Fwiw, while hes an angry young man, hes good company and id prefer him contributing than not

That's your opinion, and in mine he's a moron. He can put me on ignore if he doesn't want to read that, and so can you. Only 1 person in this scenario threatened physical violence.

He's a passionate fella, who in the heat of the game, and perhaps with a few ales, doesn't hold back at times when he sees someone not performing. Too strong at times, but it's about context: hes calling it as he sees it, and as he's almost always there is perhaps in a decent position to comment.

It isn't scapegoating- just purely as he sees it on the day, as indeed to several long distance regulars. If they all say similar, then maybe the given player isn't performing so well. So long as fans keep getting behind the lads at the time, then a comment on a forum is no different to a chat in the boozer.

If the same player gets repeated negative reviews, from a range of fans, then maybe that player isn't quite at the right level.

Abusive, over the top comments of players aren't regular and aren't welcome- just as they aren't towards fans.

Though to be fair you do seem to look for confrontation like a dog sniffing out a treat

Not sure why folk react but whatever

Passes the time anyway

Utter nonsense. I do nothing of the sort.

I wouldn’t want you going anywhere as I think you contribute a lot etc but you’re intelligent enough to stop calling him a moron etc. He isn’t in the slightest. Room for all of us in here.

You may argue the word confrontation etc but you know full well what you are after.

You do

It's why you end up having so many arguements and tit for tat squabbles

Passive aggressive of a sort

Genuinely no idea what you mean. If someone posts something stupid, I'll call them stupid. Literally as simple as that.

Bumped into an ex Wanderers player who has opened a business in Torquay. Said he would give me a discount, so I asked for a Campo and now I look like an Italian chef from Sheffield. FFS.
Quality day yesterday with weather, best Wetherspoons, eye candy, family, friends and a new WanderersWayer, three hard fought points and a Midori (Big Innes) based cocktail to round it all off. Bring on Monday. COYFWM.

Let's be honest, is there anyone here who hasn't made a daft comment on a player at a match in the heat of the moment?

Maybe just cut folk some slack?

Yeah we saw that, most of the Exeter fans were laughing at him.

Maybe if you did that instead of calling people fkin Morons then this discussion wouldn’t be taking place.

I do accept people have different views to my own. And sometimes, they're fucking moronic. Nobody is forcing you to read my posts or engage in any discussion.

We were extremely lucky to avoid M6 closure around Walsall approx  12-15PM.

4 mile tailbacks.

Accident looked horrendous.

We were literally a minute the right side. Came off at the slip road and re-joined. The accident was under the junction.

Left @ 10AM and back for 2PM.
