Today was shit. We struggled well before we went down to 10. If we concede them first 2 goals without santos then everyone would be saying we don’t concede them with santos there, yet here we are conc

Sheehan needs to avoid a yellow in the next 5 games to avoid a 2 game ban

Think Sheehan's only on 8 yellows though.

It was yes. The last ones were 99ish.

I actually remember a piece you wrote about keeping the club going through difficult times. Spend money in the ground and buy a shirt etc.

We were in the middle of a big lull. 2nd season down and gates were absolutely shocking. Club seemed be on its arse.

....upstep Sir Edddie and Big Sam :)

Yes that second season down looked dreadful in the first two or three months and then everything got shored up by that one appointment.

All a far cry from now when we are getting almost double the gates despite being in the third division!

Anyway, let's hope we can beat this shower of shit tomorrow!

Nice early train for this, Poulton for brekkie and beer. Not going into that dump of a town until as late as possible.

History makers tomorrow. We have to win there eventually

The weekend is upon us

Yes, it is 9 isn't it.

Annoying really as a few of them must be when he has a nip back after been hacked down 4 or 5 times before the ref gets a card out.

Those stats show he's been fouled 58 times !!

Aye, hopefully gets through these next 2 aways and likely to see him rested at home to Cambridge

Yeah, but the Cambridge game is just the sort when we'll need him.

Maybe on the bench if he can get through the next 2 🤞

I was going to say there's still a question mark against this team in the big games - derbies, crucial matches etc but Wembley, Derby and Blackpool at home show we're capable of turning up on the big day.  Please, please do so tomorrow 🙏

Can’t see it being tomorrow mate - they’re so strong at home.

Biggest price we’ve been for an away game since Pompey.

Fancy us to win at Wigan though and 6 points from those 3 aways will do just nicely.

I'd take that - but would still be pissed off at 5pm tomorrow

As discussed already

If I could choose one game to win it's Wigan

But on the condition that Derby and Pompey lose tomorrow too

Not arsed about Barnsley winning

Am looking up not down

However I don't think it's asking a lot to win both

100% question marks around this.

Since promotion to league 1, as things stand, with the table how it is as I type, against the top 6 the numbers stand at (very quick lookup)

P27 W5 D10 L12

25 points from a possible 81

Next few weeks are massive
