Is this true? We have c.16k season ticket holders, and an average home attendance of c.19k, from a town of 200k residents, within a borough of 300k. This is in the third tier of English football.

Top tier only for me.

But Neil thinks different.

££££££££££££££

top tier only

should be set in stone for all clubs that

let them have the lot if they want it

They had 4k at Peterborough at the weekend.
After the game, Posh's manager wasn't happy about the decision.

Fans with 70+ loyalty points are top of the queue, with tickets available to them from 10am this morning. Next in line are those with 55+ points (1pm today) and 45+ (4pm today). Those with 35+ and 23+ points must wait until tomorrow (10am and 1pm) to find out if tickets remain. Meanwhile, in the unlikely event of seats not selling out, tickets will be put on general sale from 4pm on Wednesday.

This is from their local rag. Loyalty scheme in place. 2600 initial allocation.

Moaning like fuck because of the price, but they only charged us a fiver less.

On a Monday night on Sky, where they'll have recouped more than £5/head.

Surely Neil must be thinking on opening South Stand to home fans for this??

We can't sell the other 3 stands so he will probably let them have 5k

just give them the 2.6k and leave it at that

Assuming we're still in with a chance of automatic promotion, then I'd say open some of the south stand to home fans.

Push it early as the big game it is, and get selling those tickets early- introduce a bit of fomo.

Give them what they can give us. We can’t moan about folk not giving us more if we don’t do the same. So if they can offer 1500 they get 1500 etc

Yep but they have been given 2600 already. Fuck them

We have given them 2200 - so bollox to giving them anymore on a day that could see them clinch promotion

They have half split over both tiers

so possibly home fans in south too like old days

They could have helped us out with the TV game and chose not to so fuck ‘em

they've sold out, 2600

wording doesn't suggest they'll get more

Be very small time if we offered more

Tremendous that and like I’ve said before other way around we wouldn’t

We’ve become a nation of crowd nonces

How is this even a debate? We've got 4 weeks till this game - don't give them more until the final week. No way home fans will know what they're doing till nearer the time, and a lot will depend how we've got on in our next 3 games. Do well and drum up support and there could be the sense of fomo to sell out the south stand.

Interestingly, based on the amount we've given them (more than the upper tier holds) we'll have to do the half upper and half lower split, which would be great for the atmosphere.

That being said, I hate enforced reductions for no reason. If it gets to the Monday before the game and we're miles off give them as many as they want.

Yeh depends what happens between now and then. Within 1/2 points of second there will be lots of interest.

Would love to see the South stand with whites and a big atmosphere.

Can't understand why anyone would prefer empty seats to fans in any circumstances. Feels like it defeats the point of why we all love the sport.

If we can't shift them a week before, then they should go to whoever wants them. We'd benefit more than most if all clubs took the same view.

He was at Peterborough at weekend.

Not sure if he's still banned from their home games.

Them having 5k+ in the whole stand on  a pivotal fixture?

That's like the stuff of nightmares.

Fuck that.

It looks embarrassing and gives them a huge advantage. I'd rather lose a few quid and have shit load of netting behind there.

Agreed - could be a game that gets them promoted or champions - sick of having thousands of away fans celebrating at our ground
