...and a total rebuild and change could set us back even further.

Sometimes it's better the devil you know.

I here what you are saying, theres no right or wrong, but  both Pompey and Oxford have changed their manager in the last  12/18 months, they are both in the Championship now.

You're right. It's difficult and I'm glad I'm not making the decisions.

It will be hard to to rip up 5-6 years of building and planning. Especially when we actually came so close.

I dread it going sour next season though. Don't think any of us want that :(

id guess most teams have changed their manager

For me he stays but he will be under huge pressure to get things off to a strong start.  Anything short and the atmosphere will turn toxic pretty quick.  We need to avoid the same mistake Wednesday made last year after Darren Moore left.

Birmingham changed twice and are in League 1

Following Klopp leaving, Ian Evatt is now the 6th longest serving manager in the football league.

Anyone get the other 5 ahead of him?

I can only think of two in the last 12/18 months who have been promoted to the championship! Silly statement really!

I know who they are. 3 are in the Prem. 1 in Championship and one in L2?

What, staying in the championship after being promoted! God forbid!

14 of the L1 managers before the play-off final had been in situ for less than 1 year

You have missed my point.  Wednesday appointed a relative unknown in Xisco Munoz in pre season who  was a total disaster, the worst manager in their history getting 2 points in 10 games.  My point being sometimes it is better the devil you know

And then they appointed a manager who got them out of the shit and kept them up!

Therefore changing the manager isn't a guarantee of success.

A risk either way, no right or wrong.

I was just saying it worked for Oxford and Pompey in our league.

It also equally didn't work for Lincoln, Barnsley, Cheltenham, Fleetwood and Port Vale.

Who didnt have the resources, or the pulling power, or the wages, that we did.

They wouldnt have been worse than us if we had played another 10 minutes at ours. We will wait and see. Ive named two that got promoted out of our league who changed manager, you can try to prove me wrong as much as you want, but, sometimes facts make sense.

Think we were third in budget table.

We finished 3rd.
