  • Put you on hold for thirty seconds before passing you back to reception?

  • What I found disappointing was that their goals didn't come through them being a top drawer side, they generally came from us being poor. Goal 1 - Arfield trying to kick the ball and missing it.

  • Anybody slagging our players off tonight needs to give their head a wobble.  Honestly.

50k gate? Really? I suppose it's theoretically possible for a midweek game in the League Cup third round - they certainly have the room.

That would be fantastic. So where does the money for salaries and our other bills come from then? Or are we just planning to continue trading at a loss forever?

Their last crowd against opposition in or around our leagues was against Wimbledon, they had 56,000 on.

Wimbledon did take 8k, but it should be decent home crowd anyway

50k minimum I'd guess, these teams where you can't get a ticket for a league game (Spurs, Liverpool, Everton, Leeds etc) are always full for tinpot cup games because its a chance for non S/Ts to go (and cheaper too presumably).

Excellent. Let's beat 'em.

It’ll be £5k for travel alone. There and back in a private first class train carriage on a weekday, with logistics person on hand to look after them. Nearer to 40 people in total.

Accommodation will be £10k plus with food, afternoon meeting room, transport to / from stadium etc included.

we play CRAWLEY on the sat

if we play on the wed night

no way are we coming back Up North

I lived next to the Emirates for a few years about 15 years ago. I’m not one for flags outside your home, but I made an exception for my balcony…

I've got a day and half leave left between now and 1st Jan. Don't fancy using it up and spending a small fortune to see us get pumped. That's my excuse for watching it on the Tele.

if i use a day and a half on anything, its northampton and we will need to be winning

Do they always stay overnight the night before an away game?  Seems an unnecessary expense/faff especially in London.  I get it for a lunchtime game in Crawley but different for a night match surely.

if its wednesday id say theres little chance they will come home before crawley as thats a friday morning travel

Think it's been the worst thread on this board in its 25 year history.

Any chance you can find out how much it cost the club in hotel and travel costs?

Need to factor in service station prices.

Few sources at the club say that FV won’t stump up for hotels and trains for Peter Atherton and Crainey unless they use bunk beds. No issue for crainey but Atherton not keen. He travels on his own and out of his own pocket and has the Hilton honours app and is talking about taking a holiday to Mexico with the points.

Fucking hell mate, that’s 2 nights on the trot!! 🤣

Same source

Have got in and used my Hotels.com points on a lovely place in Finsbury Park before Sharon rings me up to donate them to the club
