  • Put you on hold for thirty seconds before passing you back to reception?

  • What I found disappointing was that their goals didn't come through them being a top drawer side, they generally came from us being poor. Goal 1 - Arfield trying to kick the ball and missing it.

  • Anybody slagging our players off tonight needs to give their head a wobble.  Honestly.

Crawley > Arsenal, for me.

- Been before

- Less of a game

- Playing against their kids like an EFL trophy game

- Down south on a school night.

Hope there’s more who have a different viewpoint to me, so we send a good following down there and do ourselves proud.

Hope we start Dan in this, can't see the Arsenal defense being able to cope with him.

Aye, they’ll be on the floor pissing their sides… that’s if we haven’t found a non league team for a season long loan.

The Howfen Ultras & The LL Leg-End have confirmed their availability for this fixture.....

It's London, Baby......

Play our under 18s/ B team...........The competition died a death last night

Wont be long and the FA Cup will go the same way.

Tell the league we can play both games that week...........First team against Villa kids and our B team against Arsenal reserves in a third full stadium.

Had tickets for that , had to give them up as starting a new job at 5 am the next day and was sure I wouldnt get back in time. Blessing in disguise , Id have been suicidal on the coach home .

We drove down, and to top the defeat off, we had a fuckin parking ticket when we got back to the car! Longest journey home ever. Dont think the 4 of us spoke for 5 hours.!

Boycotting because of the new draw format

It's fucking disgusting

You're right about this, shocking what they have done to this draw to keep the champions league teams happy. Let them play each other the bastards.

The perfect fixture for us. I'm definitely hoping to make the trip as long as I can get a ticket.

I didn't see the draw but can see/hear there are plenty moaning about the seeding.

I believe it was done to help with fixture congestion of the clubs in the CL.  What am I missing here?  Surely a match is a match, regardless of who it is against, so how does seeding help?  Also, Shirley with them getting an 'easier' draw it makes it more likely they'll progress, therefore adding another fixture??

The reason for the seeding is APPARANTLY because champs league play on two different weeks or some bullshit. I looked last  night and Arsenal will be playing their champs league on the w/c 16th. So everyone could just play on the w/c 23rd.

It's complete bullshit that they have done it.

Also, for anyone wandering. I'm fairly sure we will play them on Wednesday 25th based on Arsenals fixtures.

What is a realistic estimate of our 45% of the income i.e. how much dosh is this tie likely to bring into the club?

And will it cover the team's transport to London, accommodation and a week's wages?

Why do you care? 🤣

How can it be? We are entitled to 45% of the gate money, so we can’t have them giving away tickets for free.

Isn't it because the Europa league is the w/c 23rd so a champions league and Europa league team drawn against one another wouldn't have a slot to play it?

That's the official reason, but if they've got all these slots for friendlies across the globe they can fit this in. It's just a way for the organisers to guarantee more big teams in the later rounds. Essentially all clubs in Europe guaranteed in the 4th round now. Proper joke

Their STs include a certain amount of home cup games each year

He's just checked and you're correct....although previous years they have included league Cup games. This year it's just CL games that are free

Your 2024/25 Season Ticket includes all 19 home Premier League fixtures and 4 UEFA champions league phase (former Group Stage)

Carabao Cup home matches are not included but can be purchased on a match-by match basis

I'd have been more ok with it had they said ok but as we're fudging it you have to play away

Anyway

They'll play kids but reckon IE will be all over this and play our best XI on the night

Folks looking for reasons to give it a swerve.

Weak.

Ticket prices shouldn't be a reason, my mate reckons £10 for kids and old cunts and £20 adults

Indeed, if I didn't live so close I wouldn't even consider it. I don't think many will to be honest, and I don't blame them

I've got a day and half leave left between now and 1st Jan. Don't fancy using it up and spending a small fortune to see us get pumped. That's my excuse for watching it on the Tele.
