You need to deduct the costs incurred by Arsenal from hosting the game. Police, Stewards, ticket staff, utilities, etc.

We’d collect 45% of the profits, after the match costs.

School night makes it awkward. Think for those that have never done the Emirates it's a nice one to tick off. Personally done it a few times so not too arsed. See what the ticket price is. Don't like club transport but might be the best option for a midweek London trip.

It’ll be £5k for travel alone. There and back in a private first class train carriage on a weekday, with logistics person on hand to look after them. Nearer to 40 people in total. 
 

Accommodation will be £10k plus with food, afternoon meeting room, transport to / from stadium etc included.

Do they always stay overnight the night before an away game?  Seems an unnecessary expense/faff especially in London.  I get it for a lunchtime game in Crawley but different for a night match surely.

50k gate? Really? I suppose it's theoretically possible for a midweek game in the League Cup third round - they certainly have the room.

That would be fantastic. So where does the money for salaries and our other bills come from then? Or are we just planning to continue trading at a loss forever?

I suppose it would have been exactly the same cost if we'd drawn Wimbledon away, so its still a huge financial bonus to be playing at Arsenal instead of in front of 5k.
