That game looks like a huge banana skin now and has the makings of one of those "all time lows" defeats, but I'd have some sympathy coming barely 2 days after a game-of-a-lifetime for most of the players.

I suppose its not a massive difference in hours (around 75 compared to 62) but the late Wed night and relatively early Sat start has to have an impact on tiredness, compared to the normality of Sat 3pm/Tue 7.45. And normally when you play Sat-Tue your opponents do also, so no disadvantage. I'm guessing Crawley will have a full week to prepare. It just looks like a much tougher game for IE to negotiate now and he definitely can't afford to lose it.

Don’t forget playing Tuesday would have probably meant coming back after the game and then back down on Friday. Wednesday-Saturday you’d expect we’d stay down there and train at Brighton or whatever and effectively get an extra day of training and/or rehab.
