The semi against Accrington to get to Wembley was fantastic. Better than all those above.

Proper cup tie, atmosphere from the Whites, result, mayhem, pitch invasion, securing first Wembley visit for over a decade.

Top cup night, what’s not to like?! Especially as it was followed up by one of my favourite Wembley visits.

I'm definitely not downplaying that game, I just wasn't there.  And I was sticking up for the league and FA Cup ties that can be decent even if its 2nd or 3rd round.

You've kind of proved the point that the only memorable games in this competition is when actually qualifying for Wembley, the rest of the whole competition is just a means to an end rather than an event in itself.

Don't get me wrong, I've no problem with others getting the most out of these games, I'm just talking from my point of view.  My 78 year old neighbours will be there and I wouldn't begrudge anyone wanting to go to a game on a Tuesday night.

  • Good second half that. We looked a decent team for the first time in ages ... maybe we're getting our mojo back. Thought Forrester was quality tonight. Chuffed for him after a couple of shaky app

  • Thought GT and Matete with Lolos in the middle looked far more secure and just as creative as any line up I’ve seen with Sheehan playing. Some folk have questioned where McAtee fits in despite hi

Swap Williams and Forrester for Johnston and schon and that's could well be Saturday's team

What’s happened to Arfield? Injured or completely out of favour?

(Would have played him tonight…….to stop the others getting injured).

5-0

100/1

Also fancy Lolos anytime

7/2

Pretty much as strong as it could be.

Could look at it one or two ways.

7 changes could suggest we are mixing it up.

Baxter, Cogley, Schon, Mcatee, Collins and Johnston would all have something to say about not being in a side as strong as it can be

It’s 7 not 6!

I bet all those 6 start on Saturday, if available.

Add Santos, Tomo, Matete, Jones and Charles, that's the 11.

Firstly, few of the players play regularly, and are often rotated, so I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

However, that wasn't the point, we have injuries, and a big, big game at the weekend.

I reckon they would likely feel more aggrieved if they weren't in the side of Saturday.

What's the crowd? 1200???

Has anybody actually gone??

We are either misunderstanding each other or debating different points.

I never suggested they would feel more or less aggrieved being in a side tonight or Saturday. Of course they’d feel more aggrieved being left out of a big league game.

And I know we are risking players who may play Saturday.

My point was a simple one - it is a fair debate to counter your point that that is “pretty much as strong as it could be”, when there’s strong first team players on the bench and  we’ve made 7 changes from our last league game

That’d be my midfield and attack for Saturday

if one of nine players that are starting tonight gets injured they can be replaced on Saturday...Santos and Thomason simply cannot, but you keep defending Evatt

Still insisting on wing backs playing on the wrong side.

yes if you count ST

21000

We have looked ok going forward but be nice if we would shoot every now and again.

RE the fullbacks switching I don't mind it. Tutu looked great on left when he came on last game.  Let's not forget Randalls little cameo as a RWB earlier in season when he scored.

We Need a Shooting Coach

When we pass to someone who has someone right behind them and they lose it under pressure and Huddersfield almost score.

And then we do it a few more times and keep losing it. Why do we keep doing that?

Oh here we go

Mr missing the point completely…. again….and again

This was a post about whether we had gone as strong as we could do.

I said it’s debatable because we’ve made 7 changes and there’s 6 players I listed who could be considered starters

God I should have gone to the game to save me this pain.  Look back at the side I suggested. No Santos for me. Tommo is understandable because he needs game time.

But you go ahead with your wild theories and misinterpretations.

Let’s hope as well as Santos keeping injury free, he doesn’t shine too much or we’ll end up with some 6 (or 7) figure bids in for him 😊

Our short range passing (even with no pressure) continues to be atrocious.

Practice and preparation for the championship! :)

A lot of misplaced passes.

Twice more in space of a minute.

Charles losing in centre midfield. Can’t control it and hold off defender.

Victor falling over on edge of box with someone behind him because he couldn’t shield the ball from a plastic bag never mind a centre back
