Johnnyrotten Posted January 28, 2025 Posted January 28, 2025 It feels strange looking forward to going to a home game, and not thinking "well if we lose, its one game nearer". It puts an edge on the game I'm just not used to in recent months. Great stuff. Quote
VividDreamer Posted January 28, 2025 Posted January 28, 2025 We’ve been so inconsistent this season, I’m dreading see a poor performance tonight after finally feeling optimistic. Quote

Shame because on the whole he’s been great for us. Just think evatts fucked his head and confidence. I think the way that Saturday showed there's no need to rush people back from injury as we have in the past and that Santos was so embedded into Evatt's style of play it would do him some good to readjust for a while - but he's still a good athlete and can still do a great job for us when he's ready. Shackles off again tonight and we'll be fine whoever plays. Quote
TroySwoosh Posted January 28, 2025 Posted January 28, 2025 Be weird seeing our new manager in the opposition dugout* *one can only hope Quote
Dr. Feelgood Posted January 28, 2025 Posted January 28, 2025 Win, lose or draw the weight has now been lifted & I think those there will feel the raised mood & only now will recognise how much he was pulling the place down. Quote

If they're now strong and physical, then we'll need to adopt a different way that frees up Sheehan. One of him and Morley you'd imagine making some runs forward, and not being too deep. I quite like Desmond and Schon there- as I'd hoped- I think we're going to use the width and get some balls in. Quote

Turned out to be brilliant. Quote
