Crowds

Not had a bit of crowd noncing for a bit 😂

Might get @radcliffe white back

One thing that remains really impressive for us is our fan base.

Think we’ll see it at our best tomorrow 👏👏

While I care little about attendances, that’s the fullest I’ve seen the place after 90 mins for a long, long time

Fantastic to see

Roof nearly came off for the winner

As @Big E was quick to point out I was in full on happy clappy mode yesterday 😁

Oozing positivity at half time……you’ve got problems 😁

I said earlier that yesterday was the first time for ages it felt and sounded like there were 20 odd thousand on.

I couldn’t find the mini bus after the match there were that many still there. Last match it was the only bus left.

Still mega flat at times, especially in the first half.

Freezing cold doesn't help

A few weeks ago 0 - 0 against a struggling side would have had a display of bed linen, and a flat atmosphere would have been the least of his problems.

Didn't get home till nearly 7pm.

I was in Bay Horse for 5:45 the last home game :D

Yeah but that was for a pre-match pint presumably 😀

At 1-3 it was funereal.  At any other time this season there would have been loud booing and chanting, nobody knew how to react yesterday, flat doesn't even come close.  Thankfully it only lasted about 6 minutes.

After the run of home games v Blackpool, Wigan and Barnsley around December we're on a run of home games that are only going to create an atmosphere if we're coming from behind to win!

Think you’re being a bit harsh there. At both 1-2 and 1-3 there was a roar of encouragement from the fans that simply wouldn’t have happened a few weeks ago.

Piss poor away followings don't help. It seems ages since there was a large & lively away crowd, I don't think either B/pool or Wiggin sold out.

On the plus side, without them there's been plenty room on the train after !!

& someone said our crowds would soon drop in the championship, ours might but the away followings would be miles bigger.

My mate was saying that Crawley's following was a disgrace yesterday....

I asked him how many away games he'd been this season....

The answer was none.....

He then changed the topic of conversation.... 😁

He's on a half full cup with that one, again!

If the lads start well, they'll get the encouragement. Get ahead and it could be a very good, and positive place to be.

Not at 1-3 there wasn't.  You could hear a pin drop, I remember thinking this is very shit.

But as soon as it went to 2-3 it was hard to imagine we wouldn't at least draw and the crowd were well up for it.

But you're right there would have been no encouragement a month ago at 1-2.  Different times!  At 1-3 it would have been toxic, so silence yesterday was an improvement, it allowed the players and manager to concentrate on the job in hand.  I'm not normally one for saying the crowd got a result but I do think the difference between the encouragement of yesterday and toxicity of a month ago meant we got at least an extra 2 points.

Adds to my frustration that we didn't have the benefit of that v Cambridge and Charlton because we'd have another 5 points now!

I stayed in my seat and clapped the players off, which is pretty much unheard of.

I stayed to jeer there's off giving them the Vs and and going "aaahhh" in that way which says "fuck you"

Yes me too. Think that was why I nearly missed my bus.

Wrong thread

In contrast, and in a league higher, Blackburn who are 5th in the Championship, had less than 15,000 including over 1000 Plymouth fans. Shocking support.
