DIsagree. The clock starts ticking for SS in the summer. He needs a transfer window. But these derby results are massively depressing regardless of who the manager is.

He shouldn't have signed them then.

Of course it’s a derby. A rivalry. Slightly different dynamic in the eye of the beholder.

I don’t particularly like them but never look out for their results outside of when it impacts us. In my time we’ve been pretty shit against them.

They do smack of second team type losers which is beneath me for any real disdain.

I don’t know any Stockport fans.

Nearly a full house tomorrow. Let's hope we buck the recent trend...

A good old fashioned Manchester derby

I thought that a lot of their fans were City? Easy commute from Manchester when their first choice team is away.

For a while now they've always had decent crowds at whatever level they're at

Know of a couple who are lifelong hard core, and reckon the majority of those that go every week are Stockport only

But plenty locals who support city or utd will root for Stockport as well

Like My other halves cousin is from Stockport but always watched utd and got corporate season tickets and takes his lads

His son got mates at school who are county and he wants to go watching them with his mates, so he bought county season tickets and they go when utd aren't playing the same day

according to ticket office tweet " Block H is open for home supporters but it's already full in there "

Going back a good few decades, they used to get a good number of City or Utd turning up as, a bit like Tranmere, they used to play their home games on a Friday night. Often used to get decent crowds for the level they were at

How many did we give this tinpot lot ?   And have they sold out?

It’s not that long ago that the club was thinking about not opening the top tiers

Stockport is a good little setup. One of the clubs we work with. They openly admit they have 3 tiers of fans

die hards-call em Cheadle Enders.

Lapsed mancs from both clubs as a cheap football day out

School kids for the next generation.

Good on them. Only way to survive in this area is to have a net that catches the ones that fall out of the big clubs' trees

We gave them 4100 and yes they've sold out.

There's plenty of pinks in Bolton too...

Thought it was 2,800 and they all kicked off?

Yeah we reduced their allocation to the top tier only. 2645

So we've nearly sold out the entire South Lower? I find that hard to believe.

Some local kids footy teams were given free tickets for that area last week.

I don't know. Are you basing that on the e-ticketing seating plan? They don't open some blocks until others have been sold out

With a gate of 24,000 there are still almost 5000 empty seats around the stadium. Many that can be used in other areas than the South Lower

At Brum game it was a strange one, West Upper, where I am, was packed, just odd seats dotted about, yet looking across to East Upper it was nearly half empty. Everyone who bought walk-ups seemed to want the same place

Yeah. I’d rather go bust though than encourage Man U fans to come and watch us

Wondering if Etete will make the bench for debut take 2?

May as well take the risk with a 2 week break between games now

Brain fart. For some reason I had it in my head our capacity is 26k rather than 29k 🤦‍♂️
