Just got back. Dreadful game between two dreadful teams at a dreadful stadium in a dreadful town. And it couldn’t be any fucking sweeter!

  • I take it all back. 11 sets of bollocks there tonight. Not a single bit of quality like, but we fought to the end 💙💪💪

  • It was a great performance v Brum but they are pretty much home and hosed, nobody expected a result and we caught them off guard. I don't doubt our players ability. We have genuine talent.

Swore off going to wiggin after our recent embarrassments, sorely tempted again now.

got to beat these one day, hopefully got a better chance now IE has gone

I get the impression they are deliberately waiting to appoint a manager so that his first game is against us, to maximise new manager bounce.  To hell with all the fixtures in between, as long as they beat us they'll be happy.

i am tempted to get involved in this just not sure i can be arsed arguing with police as to why i do not wish to get the train back to Bolton.

4231 allocation.

Is that more than last year?

Is being herded onto the trains a thing? Said I’d never go there again but do fancy it and would be driving.

Last 3 visits they have tried to force me to go to station for the Bolton train. It’s ridiculous.

Presumably they let you go your own way eventually?

Like applying for a bank account or a job- you'll end up needing to take 2 bills with your address on!

They threatened to arrest me last time. I show them my driving license clearly saying Liverpool and they still try. Proper weird

Fuck that, that’s a piss take.

When we beat Utd 2-1 in 2001

Police escort from ground to deansgate station

As I lived in Manc I had no reason to get a train and despite explaining this they insisted we all went to the platform

So we did and left by another way out

I cam understand it in a way, as they don't want all and sundry hanging around for obvious reasons.

However, when you've got a perfectly legitimate reason, and they still threaten to arrest you, then something is greatly amiss.

Surely the potential for a wrongful arrest claim if they went ahead.

Happened to myself and my daughter a couple years back. I was parked on frog lane near that little tunnel. They wouldn't let us through i showed em driving licence with wigan address basically just laughed. We had to walk to station then escape the crowd and walk all way back through a moody bit of wigan at night. Took us an hr and half to get to car. Il never go again not to be treated like that.

I know I can be a knob but first group of coppers wouldn’t listen and ignored the license address. Why the fuck I would be wanting to go on my own to cause trouble fuck knows. Only when a superior came over was I allowed to go to the right station.

Out until we finally beat the scrubbers

It's the shitest away game....

I can't see me ever going back.....
