“PA man” is a local celebrity MC Finchy - I reckon you’ve got to be in your 30s to have heard of him but it brought back some memories hearing Ozone bounce… then he fucking ruined it with his little ending, the twat!

Game was awful, they were horrendous but we really tried our best to out-shit them for a lot of it, terrible football which was mainly due to McAtee being no lone striker - as @Casino says, if Etete isn’t coming on in that game then it’s not a great advertisement for his ability.

But, who gives a fuck when a 92nd minute winner goes in? Suddenly turns into the best game ever, biggest 3 points of the season, the players are all heroes, they’re serenaded off the pitch from 4,500 fans and now feel on top of the world.

We’re in the play offs, have 2 winnable home games, our ‘blip’ can be well and truly forgotten by this time next week and there’s a completely different feel to it, all due to Forino doing his best Jermain Defoe impression in the last minute.

We’re going up (just don’t play McAtee up top on his own again!).

My gaffer of 20 years retired last year, and his replacement is a Wigan fan. We have a one-to-one team brief every Wednesday, but he's just cancelled todays. 😂

How on earth have you managed to keep in a job for over 20 years?

Also I get keeping us in but not letting anyone on the concourse with 10 minutes to go caused a bit of aggro

Mates lad needed a piss on 85 mins by then fair few crammed around top of stairs arguing with cops and stewards

Managed to get him after much effort and pleading through the crush and for a piss but couldn't get back up

At one point cop trying to push them up he stairs into the fans trying to get down

Poor lad got scared so they stayed down and missed the goal

It's a shit stand and not fit for large crowds

Also came back after half time and some blokes in our seats

Right move lads

We're not moving

You're in our seats

Someone's in our seats

And now you're in ours so fucking move

Etc

They eventually did but were hard work

That stand has never been fit for purpose, single tier stands that big, with one pretty narrow concourse, are an accident waiting to happen. Took daughter a few years ago, she didn't like how crowded it was at all.

and then carnage under the stands at half time

everyone been queueing ages for a pint, the lads get the pyros out, start bouncing around, chucking pints and the shutters come down, so everyone banging on them

everyone disperses

then they open again so everyone steams back in trying to get to the front

then a big fat bearded steward tries steaming his way through some fans to get somewhere, and manhandles a lad whos got his arm in a cast, so he swings a leg at the steward, who turns round to face off with him, realises there's a good few lads watching so carries on, but gets stuck at the stairs

so all the lads go into him with verbals and he's looking like he's going to get filled in

just as it's calming down and he's backing off someone chucks a pint at him and he's looking for it again before other stewards come in to move the steward on

all because basically there's no room down there and everyone is on top of each other

probably cos i'm old, but there we have a big part of the issue

my concern would be an evacuation from the stand

looks like theres only 3 or four ways out and if you are above them, i'd not want to need to get out quick

once they did relase us, lower seats were all but empty before higher ones could move

Tbh it's "all because" he's a knob & another knob chucked a pint over him.

yeah don't get me wrong, it's 6 of one half a dozen of the other

it's a terrible idea but if the cops and stewards decide you're not going under the stand with 10 minutes to go, there's no point in getting angry and arguing with them, you're not going to win

dunno why they just can't shut the gates downstairs and have cops and stewards stood at the top of the stairs

whilst the fat steward was being a prick, but there was only one fan who needed to have a go back, but several decided too

When I was actually running sites the lads always checked how Bolton did so they knew what sort of Monday morning they were in for!

Aimson’s become a bit of a twat hasn’t he. Always thought he was a good guy when he was here, solid enough player, seemed relatively quiet, never any bother with the fans, seemed to leave on ok terms (although likely a bit annoyed with Evatt for not playing him more).

Now all of a sudden he’s one of the chief cheerleaders at Wigan, was giving it the biggun at the Reebok after they beat us earlier this year and put in some pretty tasty challenges last night. Calm the fuck down, Will.

Another twat they’ve managed to develop - Carragher. Acting like a prized nob head throughout the match. Clearly thinks he’s something - looking to every bit live up to his dad’s reputation, without the footballing ability.

As for McManaman, his only aim once he’d stepped foot on the pitch was to injure one of ours. Past-it twat.

Agreed. Especially considering he was playing left of a back 3 when he’s clearly more naturally an out and out centre back. I actually liked him when he was here, he never let us down, he was just never going to replace Santos and clearly didn’t want to be an understudy - just didn’t see him becoming a villain.

Tutu is showing us why he’s in the 3rd tier at the age of 26 - inconsistency. On his day (Brum) he’s clearly good enough to be playing higher up the pyramid, but those days are less frequent than his average/shite games. I still think he’s best coming on with half an hour to go, but we’re not exactly blessed with other options on the wing.

Certainly an area that needs addressing in the summer. Tutu is our best winger and we signed as a wing back. Evatt didn't play with wingers but I can imagine Schuey wants more options to be tactically flexible.

I saw their number 4 going flying in a few times

didn't realise till now it was Aimson
