Friday night im drinking  Victoria  st heading down to the Grassmarket 

Sat prob Spoons THE Playfair  1/2 way between the Station and the Ground

Heaton Park on the Sunday so really could do with trying to have a steady one 

If I need a lift on the Sunday it's gone a bit wrong

Going and coming back same day. Probably jump on a later train back so I can experience Edinburgh's pubs more.

Bumped into some lads at the Lancs game last night who are going as well.

There's more than I thought doing this trip.

Depends were you going back to but last train that gets to Bolton is 18:52 from Edinburgh 

Looks like the 18:52 is the last train anyway that gets as far as preston

We were given 1292 tickets as a initial allocation didnt think we had sold them all

I'm aiming for the 1811. It's direct to Bolton. I reckon I'll be full of Edinburgh fun by then.

Having said that the later one is an option but I don't want the faff of a change.

The direct ones are pretty good going up from Bolton to Edinburgh trans pennine trains .
but they have this mad thing if your at man picc and get on at picc you can’t get off at Bolton when it stops it’s pick up only so you have to go to preston then get another one back to Bolton 🤦‍♂️

In all seriousness  I imagine  a few of their lot may turn out given what happened way back when at our place. 
 

think they should be the ones asking that question in reverse in all honesty  
 

if they did turn out en masse then it will be fun and games. Mate of mine is a old school Leeds lad and tells the tale about how they got ran all over the place when they came up here many years ago  worst they've ever been done according to him which is a fair statement to make
