worthy10 Posted July 19, 2025 Posted July 19, 2025 Is big dave stays, he will not score more than 1 goal all season. Let's see... Cogley looking good too. Simons a but quiet Quote
deeane Koontz Posted July 19, 2025 Posted July 19, 2025 What's the formation here? Is Dave up front on his own Quote
boltonboris Posted July 19, 2025 Posted July 19, 2025 Not too bad that. Abimbola needs to busy himself a bit. Clearly not got the fitness yet for playing men’s football despite his enormous frame. He can get fitter by running himself into the ground. Last thing you want is getting dragged when you’ve still got some left in the tank. the Brighton lad looks lively and McAtee is working hard (defensively, in particular). Morley moving the ball well and we look pretty comfortable Quote

wakey Posted July 19, 2025 Posted July 19, 2025 Looking forward to seeing this team with a proper target man up top. Could be tasty. Quote

I’m sure he’s nowhere near the 1st team when we have a full complement. Still learning. Has the build of Danny Shittu. He needs to work on that. It's OK being strong but needs mobility too. Bit I get that he's just 18 & if people hadn't been chucking the towel in last season we'd never have heard of him. Quote

Dave needs time but what was concerning was that for a big lad he’s a bit wussy in the tackle and backs out a bit. Quote

boltonboris Posted July 19, 2025 Posted July 19, 2025 Yep. He really put himself about on his debut and made a nuisance of himself, so I hope he doesn’t think he’s made it now so can go through the motions. let’s not forget his age though. But he does need to show a bit more desire. Quote

Whitesince63 Posted July 19, 2025 Posted July 19, 2025 Good performance all round to be fair other than little or nothing in the final quarter, desperately need at least one good striker. Taylor and Simons look8ng really good and our two wingers are really causing them trouble but sadly nothing to play to at the moment. McAtee,s done ok and actually made a couple of tackles, looks fitter and faster. Should be ahead really but let’s see how the second half goes. Quote
Whitesince63 Posted July 19, 2025 Posted July 19, 2025 Uh oh looks like a groin strain for Taylor, that would be a blow. ☹️ Quote
Cheese Posted July 19, 2025 Posted July 19, 2025 We'll be starting the season with a depleted version of last seasons squad at this rate. Quote
Hoppy Posted July 19, 2025 Posted July 19, 2025 Why do we always buy injury prone players Great goal Quote
worthy10 Posted July 19, 2025 Posted July 19, 2025 Sorry, but dave is a bulked up version of vic. Whether he's 18 or 23, he's poor. Great goal there BTW! Quote

boltonboris Posted July 19, 2025 Posted July 19, 2025 What a great goal. Who’s the 28 just come on? Quote

Sounds like you’ve already made your mind up about him which is crazy. Hes clearly got a lot of work to do, but he keeps defenders playing deep Quote
