  • Indeed. Great post . I was more alluding to how they view us and being more up for it than us and us failing to deal with it time after time. Same with Wigan. We spent years just pretending

  • Evatt was sacked because he wasn't getting the best out of a squad HE had built over the course of a few years. Schumacher had half a season to assess it, and he's basically scrapped the lot and start

  • Bloody hell mate come on. What's the point if we don't get up for derbies? May as well all pack up and not bother ffs. These games are what it's all about.

So looking forward to the game - there are so many questions that will be answered.

Has Schumacher used this week wisely to sort out our problems? Will he tweak the system? Will we see Dalby get service and will he shine? Will the goals come from elsewhere/anywhere? Will we score first for a change? Will we finally get the win at Blackpool?

Roll on 3pm….

So same as every game and every club

3 in midfield

are we thinking

Sheehan impressed enough against Lincoln to force his inclusion. Hope he plays the same role.

No mincing number 10. Unless he's trying Sheehan further up. Happy it's not Randall or Mcatee either way

Morley as the 10?

No Mcatee again , on his way out?

Sheehan as the furthest forward of that three hopefully

Reckon it's Morley and EE then Sheehan as 10.

He must have been reading here :)

Definitely 3 in midfield. No idea which of them sits and which push on though!

All round good team, but Cissoko really has to improve on last week. Very lucky to keep his place.

Me too. The number of times we've gone there thinking we're in with a chance of turning them over this time and come away disappointed. Which will make victory all the sweeter.

I'm pleased to see Sheehan and Morley getting recognition for playing well recently when called upon - and its the right call to drop Randall - but I'm amazed Simons isn't starting.  First name on teamsheet for me, a class above and the sort of player you want in a tough away game.  Interesting call from SS.

Gale will come on at some stage, which is the beauty of competition for places. Would have liked to see a bit more of Dalby, but he'll undoubtedly get another cameo.

Remember when everyone had a go at me for saying Simmons/EE and Randall doesn't work :)

Reckon that’s mcatee done, missing from 2 squads in a row. Good riddance bad egg I reckon.

COYWM smash these fuckers today.

Would prefer Simons on the pitch, but he has played a lot of minutes so far, otherwise I don’t mind it at all!

Feels like the game for 3 genuine centre mids, hopefully with Sheehan given the licence to get forward.

Sticking with my 3-0

Wasn't me but we'll have to see how this works out. Still think that if Sheehan plays a traditional 10 role he'll have the same problems unless supported by midfield runners, although he surely has to perform better than Randall did.

Note that Taylor has made the bench and with Simons and Forino sharing it with him. we have decent options if we're defending a lead as well as in attack.

Simons had a heavy knock just before half time against Lincoln, to follow the one against Plymouth. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was just to give him a break, but on the bench, if required.

Randall doesn't work because he's not good enough (unfortunately, nothing against him).

If Simons can't play with EE, it would be Simons and someone else for me.

But I'm not arsed really, happy for SS to make the call, I'm just a bit surprised.

He only played 45 minutes last week and no midweek game just gone and no game for another week.

He's not been rested because he's tired.

It could be Morley and Sheehan just ahead of EE

Law of averages were due a win to break the curse at Blackpool. A nervy 1-0 victory with Dalby coming off the bench to score the winner in the last 10 mins.

If with Collins sold, Sheehan or Morley prove to be the No.10 we've needed all along with McAtee & Randall found wanting then I may have to hunt Evatt down & stuff a surprised Billy Crellin down his throat.

Simons & Erahon will be just fine over time, but Simons has had a couple of battering. Still slightly surprised.

Morley furthest forward I reckon.

Are there any"Xg" type stats for thnundertwatability?
