  • Fuck Johnston off and get Taylor at left centre half, Conway’s attacking influence is way to big to leave out

Think we're gonna need to be a bit patient with Dalby.  He missed the whole pre season due to injury. Gonna take him a few games.

  • If there’s no injuries, taking the red card out, that was a good night for the squad. A very good night for certain individuals. Miller - so much better than his debut Smith - Great sta

Looking foward to this tbf

I suppose we could both claim (or lose!) the prediction game @masi 51 with that line up. 😂

With the likes of Smith in there and quite a few who’ll be involved Saturday rested all together, it’s certainly not a priority - which is correct.

Great both Forss and Christie getting a start, I didn’t see that one happening.

But some likely staters for Saturday in there with Simons, Morley and Forino as I thought there would be.

Good mix for the right reasons IMO

Well i think our squad  is a lot stronger than last season and can carry a injury or two

Good to see Forss and Christy get mins, but i still would not have played Simons no need to play him in this game

Also Taylor looks a unit compared with Firino........Wonder if he has one eye on starting him Saturday against Wimbledon who will be direct

Agree those three are nailed on starters Saturday

This goalie is a fucking clown

He needs games though don’t think he had played for a year before we signed him so probably better to play him in this in case we ever need him in the league . He can’t get any worse

Reassuring start 😆

Come on then, those with knowledge of our youth set up. What is the low-down on Oliver Smith?

Saw him in the Youth final where he played at right back, very good & very attacking that night ,though of course that was against other yoofs.

were they dig this fucker up from ??

the goalie i mean !!

Sounds right.

Did think the lad was a right back, but whatever, I'm sure he scored a good header.

Good to see a young lad getting a go, and being thrust straight in.

Thought Warren might start, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him replace Forss at say half time.

Give a run out to as many as possible, and make some changes too.

He’s going to have a real test up against Hugill, he’s about as experienced as it gets at this level.

Looks like Christie playing CB and the tall young lad at RB. If it’s the same lad he did look decent in the youth final

Good.

It's a fairly strong line up we have out, so he ought to have some protection as well as attacking quality at the other end, so hopefully his workload won't be too excessive.

Nice ball in from Mcatee to Dalby that shame he fluffed the shot.

Young Smith played a nice ball through to McAtee. Looks tidy on the ball

This yank keeper hasn't improved with his kicking.

No idea it was a early kick off :D

You haven't missed owt

You take Conway, burstow and duberrry out of the team and we look fucking shite 👀

That’s twice now Dalby has been too slow getting a shot away

This doesn't look good, down with no one around him

Nice build up play with McAtee and dalby. Dalby had 2 chances to get a shot off and fluffed it....

Carthorse

I quite like this commentator, in a "he isn't annoying and amateur" way, which is what we normally get for these games.

I can't remember his name but he was a regular when we used to be on Granada Soccer Night in the 90s, can't believe he's still going, and doesn't sound any different.

Ball hit him in face, should be OK I think

Miller, very windy. Hope we don't have to count on him in the 1st team too often
