  • Fuck Johnston off and get Taylor at left centre half, Conway’s attacking influence is way to big to leave out

Think we're gonna need to be a bit patient with Dalby.  He missed the whole pre season due to injury. Gonna take him a few games.

  • If there’s no injuries, taking the red card out, that was a good night for the squad. A very good night for certain individuals. Miller - so much better than his debut Smith - Great sta

Dont think they did last season though??

Can't remember tbh. I know I've definitely been to a few that kicked off at 7 though.

Bolton 1

Rotherham 1

Bwfc win on penalties....

I quite fancy a weekend in Cardiff in April for a promotion deciding humdinger but if either of us get to the final that becomes a night match.

Either way that could be a big game weekend...or a blank one.

Or them celebrating promotion and us saving ourselves for the play offs.

Albion Sports v Handsworth for me tonight.

It's on Sky Sports + according to my telly the other day. If its a nice night I might go but tempting to sit on my arse at home.

Think I saw the record low for one of these was 1,549 or thereabouts v Everton u21s back in 2016. Might not be many more tonight

Ian, just checking and I can’t see any EFL Cup coverage on Sky tonight including Sports+ which shows the US Open until midnight. Got my granddaughters football match until 7 o’clock and was intending to rush home for the second half but if it isn’t on I won’t bother! Maybe it’s a red button thing?

I'll have another look when I get home, was just flicking through what was upcoming on that channel the other day and all the Trophy games seemed to be listed. Thought it was a bit odd to be honest. If I'm wrong I'll be turning round and going back down to Horwich!

Cheers guys I’ll have to rush home then, should catch the second half. Bloody pest starting at 7 o’ clock! 🤨

I’d be happy if Christie, Taylor, Dalby and Forss all get at least a hour and none of them get injured.

Come on then, those with knowledge of our youth set up. What is the low-down on Oliver Smith?

Not a chance Cogley starts this only fit r/b at club Morley will start Saturday Sheehan away with Wales so he wont be near the starting 11....Simons behave and Firino will be taking Toals place Saturday so he is not starting

Taylor will start as will Cissoko, Randal, Mcatee and Dalby will so that will see us ok........Christie, Gayle, Forrester , Forss will also feature at some point   way more than enough to

Use these matches to give returning players a run out and fringe players mins to keep match fit....Dont want any players likely to start the following game involved.

You were saying....? 😀

I suppose we could both claim (or lose!) the prediction game @masi 51 with that line up. 😂

With the likes of Smith in there and quite a few who’ll be involved Saturday rested all together, it’s certainly not a priority - which is correct.

Great both Forss and Christie getting a start, I didn’t see that one happening.

But some likely staters for Saturday in there with Simons, Morley and Forino as I thought there would be.

Good mix for the right reasons IMO

I could be wrong but I think he's the one @Tonge moor green jacket was impressed with in the youth cup final

Tall, centre-half

Sounds right.

Did think the lad was a right back, but whatever, I'm sure he scored a good header.

Good to see a young lad getting a go, and being thrust straight in.

Thought Warren might start, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him replace Forss at say half time.

Give a run out to as many as possible, and make some changes too.

Never heard of him to be honest?

Was hoping we'd never see Miller again 😢

Beautiful timing :)

I'll drive the long way home too.

But surprised that Broome hasn't had a go to be honest.

Miller seem to be GK2 he's been on the bench for the 1st team since he came in.

He needs games though don’t think he had played for a year before we signed him so probably better to play him in this in case we ever need him in the league . He can’t get any worse

No Simons injury please
