  • SS seems to have made us hard to beat. No doubt the usual doom mongers will be out in force. To my mind, this is the foundation we need. Just have to find a way to register wins now.

Fucking hell I could name a bunch before getting even close to JDC

  • Far too many sloppy passes today (from both sides actually). Some odd decisions around the box. And a poor defensive lapse yet again puts us under... "scoreboard pressure"(!)  But again, we've fo

Has anyone got any footage of the Duberry chant?

It's ace.

I'm trying to sing it to my family but can't grasp the words after 134 pints.

I'd wank every lad off in here for Paris back.

Imagine Gale coming in from the left, ACD attacking from the right and Maghoma running at the centre backs through the middle. Defences would be terrified.

Assuming you're sober, can you grasp them any better?

Premier league player, think cost 900,000 at the time 30 year ago, which equates to over 2m pounds now, not a Tranmere reject!

Still a much much worse RB than JDC.

What has Cogley actually done wrong this season?

Gives away pointless free kicks.....Still plays as a wingback and gets caught time and time out of position

His passing is shocking and when he gets the ball is only thought is to  pass back.....His pace gets him out of trouble but like Johnson not good enough for a team seeking promotion.

How can you say a player who played in the premier for 5 years is worse than a fourth division Tranmere reject?  Incomparable! Mind boggling!

By having seen the fucker play and not seeing anyone worse since.

He was definitely used as a right back by us. Leicester away. Got his arse handed to him by Lloyd dyer. Lloyd fucking dyer who always seemed to score past us but was shite when he came to us.

Played 5 seasons in the old first division, and 6 seasons in what is now the championship, the stats suggest he was miles better than Cogley.

Played 488 league games, majority in the top two divisions. He only played 7 games for us and, yes, granted, not the best, but nowhere near as bad as Cogley, as the stats suggest.

wtf does what he did before he got to us matter?

was absolute bobbins for us. My eyes suggest he was far shitter than Cogley.

Another who has no axe to grind with Cogley

Same. He puts a shift in, makes relatively few glaring errors, is rarely unavailable. Certainly not a problem at this level.

Do I think we can upgrade on Cogley? Probably

Do I think his inclusion in the team is a problem? Nope

I was there that night.

Cogley has never played as badly for us as Butterfield did that night. I would honestly say that his performance was one of the worst from any player in a Bolton shirt for a million years.

And there's been some bad ones. 🙄

Me too, absolutely awful he was.

Tyrone Mears had some ropey games for us.

Wearing a Bolton shirt (which can be the only judgement here) there have been plenty worse than Cogley playing RB for us.
