Where’s everyone off to?

I’m off to Antigua on a @Traftour on Saturday for a week. Early January is now my favourite time to get away for the “big” holiday of the year.

Thinking of Porec in Croatia for a week in June but nowt else planned other than a drive around Ireland to finally spread the MiL’s ashes

Like to hear where you good folk are planning as it’s inspired me in the past

We did a Norwegian Fjords cruise the other week, with P&O, on the Iona, was superb, really enjoyed it

Looking at going back to Ireland for a further go at the Wild Atlantic Way later this Summer, around Sligo / Donegal. Did the stretch from Westport to Galway a few years ago, was fabulous

we did it 3 years ago on iona, fantastic trip

Well worth it, scenery is stunning, the towns and cities superb to visit

Doing the northern lights and Fjords in October with P&O overnight stop so booked excursions hopefully to see the northern lights

Should be brilliant, our next one will be further north, up into Arctic Circle. Quite keen on one with Hurtigruten that goes the length of Norway and includes a train trip from Bergen to Oslo

My missus got seasick when we went a large boat in Greece one year. These was hardly a ripple. We will never go on a cruise.

One of the excursions is to the artic circle on this cruise will have to look into it

Cruises seem like hell stuck on a boat with a bunch of dickheads, your timeline determined by someone else.

Those massive cruise ships give me the fear.

That just looks horrific.

I've done a couple of cruises, and they've been excellent - adults only though, I'd imagine a load of kids running around would be grim

Currently in Tsilivi. Wedding is booked for 2028 here. I’m full up to my eyeballs with cocktails and gyros. Can honestly say I have never been happier than I am now 🍻 yammas
