Meanwhile in Iran

No tags, links or clips by myself

Just a recommendation which I've mentioned before

Watch Bitter Lake by Adam Curtis

It's the closest explanation I've seen to our relatively modern fucked up world

Think about it... if Iran became nuclear state alongside Israel, the entire region could be wiped out by 21st Century technologies being used to satisfy some pre mediaeval doctrines (both Jewish and Islamic).

Religion is a weapon used to control the mases.

Hang on

Didn’t that fat fucking Orange wankstain say he’d “obliterated” Irans nuclear capabilities only 2/3 months ago?

I'm sure there will be protests if the US start killing Iranian civilians at the same rate the IDF were killing civilians in Gaza.

Why would the US be killing Iranian civilians?

The whole idea is to help them achieve their own ambitions.

Ant strikes will be targeted, and only to serve a degradation of military/security ability, and possibly some economic damage, by hitting the oil sector.

Whether they succeeded or not, doesn't mean they won't try again.

Indeed they said as much, and suggested with more malign intent.

So Iran just needs bombing twice a year forever and problem solved.

He’s such a fucking retard

Have you actually learned anything about the situation over there?

Yes

They create nuclear weapons every 6 months and Trump will obliterate them every time.

Easy peasy

Trick is where to drop your bombs and knock out their centrifuges.

Why would a country with one of the largest oil reserves want enriched uranium?

Thought he’d dealt with it?

So we were led to believe.

Aĺl we know is there is a big build up going on but without a stated reason... sure he'll think of an excuse soon

If flight radar is anything to go by, than something has already started.

British,  American and Qatari assets buzzing around near the border with Iraq.

An Iranian government/presidential plane took off for Moscow.

Lad also said 4 military planes took off from Azerbaijan heading towards this plane.

It then turned a different direction.

Could be something and nowt, even a bash at IS in Iraq, but there are many different assets in the air, including special forces aircraft.

Any news on Ryan Hardie?

Needs to be the whole hog in my view. Exterminate the vicious primitive authoritarian bearded twats, reinstall the Shah and give him appropriate support. The Middle East would be a far more peaceful region.

Might have agree with you for a change

shame you’ve got me on ignore 😄

Only tankers and "hauling" types.

No fighters etc on show, obviously.

Maybe simple sabre rattling, but equally, with such a large force in the air, they can't really keep it quiet.

He's travelling by car- doesn't want to follow the Cardiff lad into the sea.

Aye

And nobody is proposing the West take over Iran & deny its sovereignty either. Quite the opposite.

Yet Israel aren’t allowing Palestine to exist.

It’s two completely different situations & the attempt at whataboutery is just daft.

The pro Palestine mob aren’t going to start protesting about other dictatorships around the world & it’s ridiculous to suggest they should.

On a separate note it’s important to remember that it was our great British nation that was so influential in propping up this monstrous regime.

Israel won't allow it, until it's "leaders" accept Israel's right to, and indeed the very existence of the Jews.

Really isn't that difficult.

No one is saying Iran doesn't have the right to exist are they?

Indeed the very opposite.

Would be good to see Tehran and indeed Kabul back where they were decades ago.

That, unfortunately, is what happens when tyrannical Muslim extremists take hold.

I'm not saying they will be. And as long as their strikes are against strategic targets, and limit civilian casualties - I don't think you'll see much by way of protest from anybody. Left or right.

It would have been the same in Gaza too - but sadly Israel pursued more of a scorched earth type policy. Hence the outrage.

It wouldn't

If Israel accepted Palestine's right to existence, I very much doubt you'd see the Palestine mob out anymore.

Israel didn't.

Their weaponry was, out of necessity, powerful and often "time delayed" to allow destruction of tunnels.

They were nevertheless guided munitions.

There is only one side that repeatedly, over years, sent unguided rockets and murderous terrorist attacks with the sole aim of targeting civilians.

No one would claim the IDF to be without fault, but they're at war, and sometimes, soldiers do things they shouldn't in the heat of battle.

Something that Starmer seems to struggle with as it happens.

They would in a heart beat if they could be entirely assured that the others would reciprocate.

History, and current times prove that they won't.

Gaza was allowed to be a self governing zone, which now has no Jews in it by the way, and we can all see how well that has gone.

Respectfully, I disagree. If Israel had stuck sort of operation against Hamas like they carried out against Hezbollah - I don't think there would have anything approaching the outrage that we saw.

This idea that people are only interested in humanitarianism when it involves the 'right' people is anathema to me.
