Awful This half brought back some memories. Taylor and Steinsson both hits. Cohen was value for 65k but was nothing special and went on to do nothing else in his career. Ricketts was a solid pro, but not good enough at the time. Muamba used to frustrate me to no end, because his off the ball work was so good, yet when he had to pass the ball to a teammate you couldn't count on him. I'd still call him a hit though. Quote

Garside may have said the league is priority- though nothing "official" came out. That notwithstanding, how Megson approached the selection was utterly pathetic. Play the players who got to the later stages, and see how they are afterwards. Instead, he showed no man management skills whatsoever, and lost the dressing room and fans alike.
