They saw their no mark arses when we couldn’t fulfill the fixture in 2019 when we were on our arse. See the BBC article. The only person to come out of it in credit was Parky. We had 3 profession

100%. That was right down with Northampton in the stinker rating and it was on the manager.  That formation was a shambles, and it was mind boggling that he persisted with it after half time, nev

  • Absolutely baffles me that we have so many fans who don't appreciate how good Sheehan is.

We cant take foot off gas at this stage. Top 2 might be gone but we need to finish strong and have teams genuinely worried about playing us in the playoffs.  We need to stop leaking goals though we cant let a team go 2 up against us in a playoff game .

Preferably not, but if we won it nonetheless, we'd all be content.

That’s true of course but it’s also about how you win games. I’m sick of just scraping through in games we should be winning comfortably. Let’s use what we’ve got left to try and win games comfortably getting all the players in the right shape and frame of mind for the play offs.

We'd all like to win games more comfortably, but a win is still three points and is all that really matters.

Couple of others likely to miss as well

If there were 2 matches I would want players to miss, it's probably the next two

Even with changes we are still strong enough to see this shower off. Get into them early on then we're not chasing the game. An early goal please, then don't let up. Two up at half time then another couple in the big nets will do for me.

Opportunities for others, which can only be good.

Yes, bit of rotation needed for me to keep everyone fresh.

Would like to see:

Bonham

Christie, Forino, Toal, Conway (Tutu wasn't great and Toal's pace would have stopped that second goal)

Simons, Dempsey (Dempsey deserves a start and Simons needs a game)

Kenny, McAtee, Gale

Dalby

3-0, Dalby, Kenny and Dempsey.

5-0 only 45/1

  • The topic was pinned

1-1

A frustrating night seeing us dominate and the oppo nick a scruffy goal from a contentious freekick - We huff and puff, get one back but can't see them off

3-0. Dalby Kenny Sheehan

We haven't played anything like well enough at any point this season to take anything for granted. To take our foot off the gas now would imply it's ever really been on it.

Tons to play for and just about every player still has a lot to prove. SS needs to find a consistent way of playing and getting results that doesn't rely on 90th minute turnarounds.

Playing well at home and winning comfortably would be a decent start.

What's with the centreback tinkering are they injured or "in the red".

Hopefully these lot have shit wingers

Surprised Toal and Sheehan are playing and Forino isn't. If we're going 4-4-2 I'd prefer Apter to Burstow.

Well he’s certainly going for it with all 3 strikers starting but a bit concerned with midfield without Erhahon or Simons to bolster it up.

Do not understand the bench with a lack of Defensive cover

I'm not sure where Temple is but I'm guessing Forino's injured

Yea we are thin on the ground...Guess Desmond will come on at some stage for Christie, but we are playing Russian roulette
