Bradford Away - 2nd Leg Thursday 14th May

Just reading their ticket details for 2nd  leg at Bradford.

Looks like they are having both stands behind both goals - savvy move from them. Also having the two blocks (F&G) we had last week.

All seats available to home supporters in the Kop, North West Corner, Morrisons Family Stand, TL Dallas Community Stand and the Bradford Lifts Stand (blocks F and G) will be unreserved, enabling City fans to occupy both goals.

Probably just giving us the nominal 2k in the other corner? (A, B, C ?)

Don't go buying tickets just yet.  We might be in trouble with the FA! Lofty spotted at Bradford's training ground 😁

Anyone got a spare Bradford away ?

Be loads at 10.30 on Saturday night.

Really bad not to have a points system for aways in this day and age. Would be so easy to implement now everyone has to be a member and would reward those that go regularly.

Doesn't sit right I've been to 3 aways this season and have as much chance of getting a prime away as everyone, so I took the moral high ground and didn't try / forgot about the 10am sale time while I was in a meeting....

I hear that box holders didn’t get any tickets…. Gonna cost the club a few bob in folk not renewing their boxes.

My lad was 40th in the queue and wouldn’t let him assign any more than 1. Then froze, kicked him out and when he finally got back in 20 mins later the 1 was still in his basket thankfully

It’s a common occurrence and while the club doesn’t help with the process or lack of they implement, the fundamental issue is the TM system. It’s diabolical.

we’re probably only paying for a limited service offering based on the scale of demand it can usually deal with but even at this level it isn’t fit for purpose

First away of the season sorted. Get in.

Congrats to everyone lucky enough to get em.  Big responsibility now.  Anyone who's not sang and shouted themselves hoarse by full time should be banned from future purchases!

That's one way of prioritising ticket sales.

Auditions to be held in the Premier Suite prior to tickets going on sale.  If you have the requisite enthusiasm and can hold a tune, you get an access code for purchasing tickets.  Maybe with a reasonable distribution of voice types to prevent an embarrassing number of sopranos getting in at the expense of some tenors and baritones.

Preferably we'd want a certain % of females attending for those harder to reach notes in the ACD and Dalby songs.

Oh your back; the man in the know.

So who isn’t fit to start Saturday

Took a punt on a hotel and advanced train tickets. The gamble didn't pay off!

I am going to travel up regardless and hope a ticket turns up, but it will be bleak watching the match in a Bradford pub!

Been here before, so no point regurgitating the same points.

Simple points system so much fairer.

Stops a lot of the nonsense that was evident today; queuing systems we knew nothing about, random queuing system, having loads of mates lined up to over-buy. Loads more too.

We had 4 on with 13 CRNS and multiple devices. 3 of us including me unsuccessful.

Fortunately my son got 2.

I know you go to loads of away games, as do I, but...devil's advocate if I may?

Should you get the same number of points for going to Wigan away on a sunny Saturday afternoon in August as you do for a Tuesday January/February night in freezing, foggy, pouring rain in Plymouth?

Hypothetical, of course. 😉

My take is that no system is fair, no system will please the majority and the club don't give a shit who attends.
The club make 5% on advanced away ticket sales, so they just want to get rid ASAP.

Keep it simple - yes.

If you’ve done Wigan and Plymouth, fair play.

If you’ve only done Wigan, back of the queue.

You’ve missed a step there.

Wigan & Plymouth 20 points

Wigan only 10 points

Neither 0 points

Done.

I propose a ballot system.

So, equal weighting for each game?

How about 1pt per mile round trip?

How about only selling to males aged 25-60?

How about prioritising those with a Besiktas (A) ticket stub?

Yeah as ultimately it works itself out in the end. And of course one man’s trek is another man’s home game. You’d end up with London Whites racking up loads of points

They can probably charge more to new customers

I heard they did, but they got two not 10.

But do you think they should have got priority?

Thing is I'd get the same points for midweek Stevenage as would someone from Bolton even though I only live five miles up the road

Done Cambridge away midweek a few times lately so that's maximum points for me even though it's half an hour on the train

As you say no system is fair and I'm sure there will be groups of fans who block book tickets based on credits then distribute them to not all of those who built up the credits

I've benefitted from away tickets bought by ST holders who then get the credit for attending matches they never went to

Should get back to queuing at the ticket office - always worked back in the day

Home attendance can be included in criteria, which would level up … and also reward those season ticket holders who attend all games.
