It's a weird one for me. Hate him more now he's gone. Spent a lot of time defending him through blind loyalty and the fact he very nearly got us over the line. The contrast between Oxford an

Were these your years supporting the Whites?

Agree it rarely boring, i started in that season we were promoted from div3, think Bournemouth were our main rivals that season (i thought that was abroad somewhere) and my 1st ever match was deffo a night game but can't really remember who against possible Oxford or port vale.

First time i ever went in the Burnden seats ( a treat) we lost 3-0 or 3-1 to Notts county but that might have been in old div2 .

And ,,,,, how White did our shirts look 1st time you seen em under floodlights?? That really sticks in my mind.

I was waiting for the second tier. I tried at 1pm Friday and couldn't get 6 together in any of the blocks that were there so I got lower tier. Wasn't risking having to get upper tier.

Upper tier front 10 rows on the sides are spot on. Wouldn’t want to go much higher or behind the goal no matter what height.

Yeah can't remember why I did the original list ha

My earliest memory is a night game at Wigan when Steve Thommo got us free tickets as he was coaching my brothers team at the time.

Burnden park was my and many others play ground while my dad was in the king bill.

Ace times. Some of them tin can footy matches at front of paddock got heavy :D

King Bill was still a decent pint when it was Tetley.

Did your dad have a tash and drive a milk wagon for unigate?

No mate but he ran the supporters club as well as the supporters club football team and then later on Chorley Whites.

Had Brett Warburton footing his ladder as he cleaned the windows on the front of the ground as he told me a million times :)

Nice one.

Not who i thought then eh?

The carpet in that supporters club was supurb, bet someone has a bit of that in their hall or somewhere.

If you ever went in there on a Friday night it was a bit of a free for all, didn't realise there was owt on in there till once me & a mate pulled a couple of munters in town and they dragged us down there.

OMG.😯😲

I bought some in block 232 yesterday, the club have sold about 3 blocks in the same area of the 2nd tier, but are no longer offering the 2nd tier as an option to buy.

Was in the 2nd tier for Plymouth & Oxford and its mint in there.

Hate Ticketmaster

Also a 232er. We had the same tickets (obviously opposite side) for Plymouth and Oxford, they’re class!

We were too slow for the Club Wembley level tickets so gone for second row in top tier. Didn’t want to wait for the rest to (hopefully) be released. Never been up top for a footy game but had a similar spot for Oasis last summer and was decent.

Top tier near the front is decent

I’ve kept a record of exactly the same thing. 😂

There can’t be many clubs with as varied, and more remarkably, a record with so much jeopardy and/or excitement season after season.

But in 8 days time we’ll either be wishing we hadn’t had this burden passed on to us, or be celebrating that we’re by far the greatest team the world has ever seen.

All to be a Wanderer.

While we’re looking at our history some interesting Wembley stats here:

Hate Ticketmaster

Ticketmaster are only the system providers (was a whole lot easier when they were still called Synchro)

Administration of everything is done by BWFC ticket office, albeit there will be a selling order that they will have to adhere to so that not all areas need to be opened if we don’t sell out etc

We best not be wearing that shite pink kit

Looks that way as Stockport are the ‘home’ team and have a lot of white on their home shirt this year

My grandad saw all the wins in the 20s

My Dad was at the 53 and 58 finals so 1-1 for him

I’m 0-3 having missed the Plymouth one

Wigan RL I’m 100%

Shirely I’m due a win

Have they announced the home team? Was looking but couldn’t find it. We’re listed first on BBC, betting sites (but not Google).

Presumed it would be them because they finished higher up

That said we wore our away kit in 01 when we finished 3rd
