Everton (H)

Anyone bothering?

I've just been to T/O for a ticket.

Only opening ESL and NSL. ESL sold out and only 2 blocks in the corner of NSL still had seats at lunchtime.

Against Breda next week, only opening WSL because there's other events going on around East Stand.

Albies 5th birthday today and going to the match with his Dad whilst I’m at work. If you see him please say happy birthday and give him a high 5, he will be buzzing!

    I just Flatley deny this

As there been any update on erhahon ?

Like to see this Watson second half see if he can put is foot in if erhahon is going to be out for the start of the season as a replacement

Still a few weeks away

Forino will get plenty cards this season i think , he seems slow .

What's his issue ?

Think it's still that calf issue he had in April.

Looks like we’re seeing nearly everyone today.

Good test for us that today.

Well played to the subs who came on

Good work out that

I'll revise that ... Sheehan good, Gale looked lively and probably our main threat - plus nicked the ball back a few times. French lad had a promising start, but nowt came off for him after that.

Stephenson looks defensively solid, can't remember last time I could say that about our RB, as did the new lad at LB.

Decent enough run out.

Seriously, I think I must be watching a different game to you they’ve both been superb especially Inwood.

Fair play. I was ready for a 0-3 tbh.

Erhahon & Toal to return, a probable 3 or 4 more to add for target "keep well away from 20th".

Just over 10,000 on today .

Pre season friendly again, so daft to make quick judgements.

Bit of a theme of criticising some of them before the game starts.

Everton must have been terrible too on that basis.

difficult to judge either under today's circumstances, but I've always liked the look of Inwood.

played well

no complaints here

Decent enough. Defence looks there or thereabouts now, just need to sort it going forward and out wide now.

Given the strength of their line up / bench, even if maybe a week or so behind us in their prep, a draw's a pretty creditable result. One or two minor occasions where better / quicker players caught us out but, encouragingly, also occasions where some of ours didn't look out of place against them.

Some really quite decent bits of football from us over the 90 minutes, not thrilling but not a bad watch either

Know it's Prem opposition and only pre season but i think this has already identified some issues.

Sheehan is too weak, our wingers don't really atm seem good enough and hard to say on Dalby due to the lack of supply.

Of course you do.

There not ready for championship as cover inwood passing was good when he came on but both looked shaky in previous 2 games there not experienced enough to cover for farino Davies and toal I would be concerned if we were still in league one both have no experience of league football

Edited by Farnywhite

I know we'll sign more players but I do think we're currently quite a long way off it

Let's hope we have a busy couple of weeks

He might be but that's a strange comment based on today's game. If anyone ran the first half, he did. I don't remember strength coming into play once, he was easily the most comfortable in possession on the pitch.

A pre-prepared whinge.

Some of our passing out from the back is atrocious.

I've watched a different game to that.

Comfortable in possession all day, and yes its a friendly so no intense pressing to deal with.

I didn't realise till I saw him play that Davies has 2 feet, that makes him stand out straight away above our other CBs, happy to take the ball on either foot and he immediately looks more composed than what we're used to from L1 defenders.

Famewo strong and competitive but without Conway's quality on the ball, a defender through and through, not a wing back.
