And in all of the quotes, I don't recall Tal mentioning money, just a desire to play for one of the top clubs.

 

As said by someone else before, if he fooks off to West Ham / Pompey et al, then I take issue with him that he's going for the cash. Then again, even if he is....so what?

 

If he does go to one of the clubs that are in with a shout of winning something / playing Champs League, then I say even fairer enough.

After thinking about it though I think Hunt's problem is his distribution, he wouldn't need to do that from the middle, just lump it clear. I know sometimes his posistioning isn't great but he might do an ok job. I'm talking rubbish now I think.

Apparently, Mourinho has done a deal with Abramovich. If Abramovich allows him to sign TBH, he will play Shevchenko no matter how badly he plays. Now he has to do a deal with Bolton and doesn't want to pay more than 2 million for Ben Haim.

If we are to get a replacement for TBH I don't want another African - its the ANC next year and we already have to think about what we do when Meite and unavailable. To buy another African defender would be ridiculous.

If Sam gets this Cameroon lad signed up and maybe another defender (Cesar?) then it makes sense in my eyes to offload TBH, if the deal is right for Bolton. 2 mil is being banned around and to me that would be a decent bit of business.

 

TBH is keen to fly the nest, and even if he is the best pro in the world you can imagine him getting a little distracted with clubs coming to speaking to him. After all, he now is able to discuss a contract with anyone. I'm not sure that Cheski, WHU & Pompey would be waiting till the end of the season to thrash a deal out.
