Spider Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Pricks. It was a minority but I would like to have slapped each and every one of them.
Dollybird Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Same here, Uncalled for , the lad has played well for us, now he wants to move on
allwhiteone Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 why the guy does not want to play for bolton
Andybwfc Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 No doubt Haim as signed a pre-contract already with Chelsea and will go to them in the summer for nowt! Now with him knowing he's going to Chelsea do you honestly think he's going to give 100% for us!? I think not! He will be frightened to death of picking up a serious injury and Chelsea not completing the move! For me we should have accepted any offer Chelsea made and offloaded! He wanted out! I did'nt boo him but I did'nt cheer or clap either!

Andybwfc Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Not allowed he can only sign them for foreign teams until the season finishes No doubt a verbal 'agreement' as been made!
Ani Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 No doubt a verbal 'agreement' as been made! did nt he do a similar thing when signing for us ? do nt we do these type of deals ? why boo a player and say he is nt going to give 100% ? lets assume sam has a clue what he is doing and if that was the case he would nt even be on the bench, or maybe people on here know more about this than the club ?
jules_darby Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I'm with Spider. Tal will be 100% committed, the bloke has too much pride not to be and he needs to still impress possible suitors - Mourinho might not still be at Chelsea so that's not a cert, West Ham have just bought 2 centre halves...his future is far from certain. Simply put, there's too many w@nkers at the Reebok. Fookin' idiots sat behind us just waiting for Pedersen, Vaz Te and Nicky Hunt to make one slip up...They're all JCL tossers who haven't got a clue - moaning at Vaz Te for not shooting when the ball is 20ft in the air for example. There was an obvious lack of quality last night in the final third, but if we'd have got behind the lads more instead, they may have been more confident in front of goal and to take chances rather than worried to make a mistake in case of getting lambasted.

I am not saying it is wrong but I just don't think we will get the same committment from him on the park as previous with one eye on a guarenteed big wage pay day with Chelsea. Good luck to him and for the record Ian and as I posted earlier I did'nt boo, clap or cheer him when he came on! Plus I think he slipped on purpose to let Thomas nearly score towards the end :p
magic legs Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Whatever percentage effort you think TBH is going to put in, he's here for the rest of the season so lets get behind the lad. He may want to move to a bigger club but I am sure he'll want a chance of winning the FA Cup and will certainly be up for games against the bigger sides.
YATESY Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Now he is staying, can the kit man please put some studs back in his boots?
HomerJay Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 hmmm, he werent for going forward in last 5 mins mins when nolan was bollocking him for not going up for a set piece.
Happy Wanderer Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 My opinion for what it's worth is I do not want a player turning out for Bolton Wanderers and pulling on that White shirt if they don't want to play for the club. You just watch, he will make one mistake and the wolves will be out in force hounding his every move. I'm very passionate about the club I have followed for over 35 years and don't respect a johnny who has played for a couple of year and thinks he's the 'best thing'.

I understand your point, and we all pay our money so are entitled to an opinion. What irks me is the short memories and double standards. The lad has been one of the top 2 or 3 players during his stay. He signed a contract until this summer and has seen it through. He has never said anything disrespectful about our club and I've never heard rumours/mutterings about him being a big time Charlie with the squad. He does his hospital visits and charity work with a smile on his face. Therefore, he has represented Bolton Wanderers impeccably and for that I am grateful. He now wishes to change club and good luck to him. Alan Stubbs he isn't. Bar the hooter.

jules_darby Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 according to sam, he pulled out of the game against arsenal because of a mysterious injury! that my friend, is not commitment! When things were "up in the air" regarding a transfer then you can forgive his "head being elsewhere". He's here until at least the summer now and unless he shows signs of not being up for it, we need to play him - he's our best defender bar none. And please tell me what booing Haim will achieve anyway? And will you boo Diouf for being petulant so that he missed 2 games?
YATESY Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 according to sam, he pulled out of the game against arsenal because of a mysterious injury! that my friend, is not commitment! Now that TBH is here until the summer, I bet the mystery injury doesn't return before the reply! I will not boo TBH but neither will he get my full support as he is no longer fully committed to BWFC. With our thin cover in defence he will play a vital part in our quest for a UEFA Cup place - this concerns me.

Sweep Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Doesn't matter if we like it or not, he's here now until the end of the season, so we may as well support him and hope he plays as well as we know he can, if he does then great. If he starts to show signs of no commitment, then he'll just have to make do with a place either on the bench or in the reserves

enzo gambaro Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 right then.... the day when players pull on the shirt of any club with pride and want to play for the club are i am afraid well gone. only nicky hunt is a local lad in the team and he wants to play for the club but that cuts no mustard with anyone. tall ben is part of the new breed of footballer, he is the type who puts in extra training on his own because he treats this as a very serious carear and like all such people (football or otherwise) he wants to earn more money working for a bigger company, he probaly knows messing up at his current job will affect his chances of making the big move later on so he will do his best. faye went off injured last night and so he may well start at watford people need to back all the players not get on their backs we are 5th in the premier league still despite a bad month. I think it's a bit harsh to suggest Nicky Hunt is the only player to take pride in the shirt. Davies sweats blood for us, Nolan is as passionate as he is limited, and Ricky and Jussi have both been around plenty long enough to have developed, at the very least, a bit of a soft spot for us (enter Carlos, stage right). For what it's worth, I'd find it hard to begrudge Ben Haim a move to Chelsea, but, in an ideal world, we'd have got shut and replaced him before the transfer window closed. It isn't an ideal world, obviously.
