Big E Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Are you fooking blind? Haim is our best defenders and one of our best players. Nicky Hunt is often our worst. Having said that, he shouldn't be booed and I don't recall folk booing him onto the pitch or his touches. Moaned at by the usual idiots who are just waiting for his first mistake (the same goes for Pedersen and Vaz Te), yes, but booed - if so I don't remember. i have heard him booed lots of times. as is pedersen.
jules_darby Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 i have heard him booed lots of times. as is pedersen. Don't sit in nobhead corner then.
Guest Hot Ribena Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I will boo any player who openly admits to wanting away, regardless of who they are and if that makes me less of a fan then so be it. Give me a Henrik Pedersen over a TBH any day of the week. I'd rather be bottom of the league with a squad of players who want to play for Bolton, than near the top with a bunch of scumbags who would jump ship at the first mention of a signing on fee. Arnar Gunnlaugsson once had the cheek to ask for a pay-rise (not a move) and was hounded out of the club by the fans. TBH refuses to sign a new contract and you bunch of tarts clap him off the pitch. Sell-outs, every single one of you (except those that booed).

Guest Hot Ribena Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 You're both a c0ck and naive to the point of extreme stupidity. No my friend, just someone tired of these overpaid tarts being worshipped like Gods. Ashley Cole ditches Arsenal for Chelsea and he gets slagged off no end on here. TBH does the same and you want to be his rent-boy.

Ashley Cole ditches Arsenal for Chelsea and he gets slagged off no end on here. TBH does the same and you want to be his rent-boy. Can I just intervene. Ashely Cole went from one of the top teams in Europe to another holding them to ransom and conducting his affairs in the media. TBH has been offered a contract by Chelsea which is presumably much higher than anything we can offer and a chance to play for one of the best teams in Europe. And has he publicly slagged BWFC off? I stand to be corrected, but I think not.

Anyway, have you never moved jobs for more money? Which players do you think aren't at Bolton because of the money? Get in the real world. And I'll say it again, what exactly do you hope to achieve by booing the player? You must be an alias.

Big E Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 he has openly said he wants to leave and this is why people feel aggrieved. yes we all know anyone would go for more money and none of us can have an opinion unless we were watching bolton in at least the 60's. if people want to boo him let them. i didn't boo him but nor did i clap.
SatanGreavsie Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 like I say, I think what happened was just a gentle reminder of who currently pays his wages.
Big E Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 like I say, I think what happened was just a gentle reminder of who currently pays his wages. exactly.

Haim as dragged out contract negotiations then stuck two fingers upto the club despite their best efforts to keep him. And as Haim not conducted some of his affairs in the media with his dad saying hes going to Chelski and my son cant wait to sign for chelski

Anyone who fakes an injury in the possibilty that he does'nt get cup tied in hope that Chelsea and Bolton agree a fee before deadline day is in my book 'not 100% committed'! I bet now deadline day as gone he's available for the replay! Just a thought!

Mounts Kipper Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 The sliding challenge on Lisbie(?) last night looked 100% committed to me. maybe because it was his mistake in the first place.
Big E Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Ricketts did the same kind of thing and yet people don't support him anymore http://www.wanderersways.com/forum/index.p...=30842&st=0

Guest Hot Ribena Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Get in the real world. I don't live in the real world, I live in a world where BWFC are the greatest and every single player who pulls on the white shirt must be willing to die for the team. In my world there is no better team to play for than Bolton Wanderers Football Club, Chelsea are merely another London team. And that's the difference my friend, me and a few thousand others all used to think that way but now it's been spoilt by the glory-hunters who make up the majority of the Reebok crowd. 15 years ago TBH would have been stoned for his comments and refusal to sign a contract. Nowadays plebs like you tell me I have to accept it as the norm. Well I won't. Playing for BWFC is an honour, not a stepping stone to a bigger bank balance.
Carlos Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Welcome back Natasha Welcome back Mophead you mean, surely? Can I point people in the direction of this post in which I think you'll find I hit the nail well and truely on the head: http://www.wanderersways.com/forum/index.p...st&p=346366 Different gravy sunshine, different gravy.
Zozzy Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I admire Hot Ribena and Mophead, they talk a lot of sense. Get behind your team like Mophead and the world will be a better place. Did Mophead get banned or is he still on another chance?
YATESY Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 he has openly said he wants to leave Has he actually said that? I know his actions (or lack of actions regard signing a new contract) implies he wants to leave but to give TBH his dues, he has been very quiet on the subject.
Ani Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 It is amazing how speculation and rumours become FACT. 1. No one knows if the injury was genuine or not. 2. The drinking culture comment was about how differnet it is in this country to back home (hardly surprising eh ?) 3. Nothing has been officially said about him talking to Chelsea - the tabloids had some alleged comments from his dad. It is fair to say given the stories that Chelsea wanted him but would nt pay what we wanted and if they had paid that he would have gone. Sam went public saying that as he was eligible for Champions League would be a good signing for Chelsea so he has doen his best to sell TBH. I can see where Satan is coming from (which is a first !) if that is why people booed hopefully it is now out of their system and providing he plays as well as he has 99% of the times he has played for Bolton untill the end of the season I will be happy. We sign players at the end of contracts so can hardly moan if the same happens to us. Do nt get me wrong, if he goes and comes back playing for another team i will be the first to make gas hissing sounds at the bloke but until then I think supporting him will be more liekly to lead to good performances which is what i want from Bolton players.
Sweep Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 until then I think supporting him will be more liekly to lead to good performances which is what i want from Bolton players. Well said Ani, but you will still get all manner of cocks on here saying "we should let him rot in the reserves" or I hope he breaks his leg in training. Let's not forget he is still our best defender, and as such he should be played (when fit) at every available opportunity, and should be supported by the fans
HomerJay Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 at what point did haim stop coming over the east lower and applauding the fans? was this the point he decided he WILL leave the club? on a similar note, fair play to nicky hunt for coming over no matter what, he must hear some shit from the crowd one ANOTHER of his passes up the line goes for a throw but is still man enough to come over at the end of the game.
