no balls Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 you must have been about 12 am i right? I wasn't but I had a crush on him. He was alright for a ginge!
Casino Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 stelios - the same ones who liked johansen i'd guess
morphus77 Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 you must have been about 12 am i right? I always thought he was a good player. I was about 12. Mind you that season under Colin Todd I would have looked a reasoanable player, one player can be carried by an exceptional team.
YATESY Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Ian Marshall Surely a joke. I challenge you to name one person (apart from yourself and your family) who would have Ian Marshall in their top 10, no make that top 50, of their all-time BWFC fans favourites. For me Robbie Savage or Trev Morgan.
saddlepub Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 IAN MOORES AND STEVIE ELLIOT......2 GREAT STRIKERS...NOT!!!!!!

indra Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Only a bit o' fun, can you think of any? Stuart Storer
Casino Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 (edited) Go on, explain that one. cheap as chips two or three times in the play off season he changed games played up front, played at the back scored a couple of crucial goals, notably one v watford one sunday true team player, up there with a much travelled centre midfielder we had in the mid 80s - name escapes me Edited June 26, 2007 by Casino
Eddie Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Bo Hansen was one of my favourites, but I'm guessing that it was only me.
YATESY Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Go on, explain that one. I can only assume Cas has missed out something like: ...top 10 ex-Leicester City signings ...top 10 last minute just before the season starts signings ...top 10 I almost forgot he ever played for Bolton signings

For me Robbie Savage or Trev Morgan. When we signed Ian Marshall I thought it would be a disaster and that it showed a lack of ambition. However he quickly changed my opinion with whole hearted performances, 100% commitment, unselfish play, important goals and the ability to play in a number of positions. Not immense skill and ability but the attributes above. I seem to remember him winning many fans over in the same way he won me over. By the way can you imagine the reaction on here if little sam was to make such a signing!
marple whites Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Ian "the bin man" Marshall - thought he was great, given his age and fitness levels.
