Mike Hunt Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Surely it could only be Robbie Savage, who's only talent on a field was to show his arse David Reeves has to come close - probably one of the worst finishers we ever had - did he ever score a 1 on 1?
Burndens Bogs Posted June 29, 2007 Author Posted June 29, 2007 Oscar Perez I don't recall Oscar being a favourite with the fans H, but he was fairly sheite
enzo gambaro Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 I don't recall Oscar being a favourite with the fans H, but he was fairly sheite How do you know?
Burndens Bogs Posted June 29, 2007 Author Posted June 29, 2007 How do you know? Because i saw him play.
Damo Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Oh. Mixu Paatelainen Richard Sneekes Simon Coleman Mark Fish From a reserve level point of view Bryan Small, was always moaning about this guy never getting a chance in the first team over Jimmy Phillips at the time, no reason apart from he was quick. Stuart Whittaker too.
enzo gambaro Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 (edited) Mixu PaatelainenRichard Sneekes Simon Coleman Mark Fish None of them were shit. What are you on about? Edited June 29, 2007 by enzo gambaro
jimmyjoojar Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Fair point, but over-rated though How do you type with your head up your arse?
H Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 I don't recall Oscar being a favourite with the fans H, but he was fairly sheite But he was mentioned so often on this forum I just thought he must be a favourite
exiledwhite2 Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 None of them were shit. What are you on about? I thought Mixu and Sneekes were fairly sh?t, to be honest, Sneekes more than Mixu
morphus77 Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 I thought Mixu and Sneekes were fairly sh?t, to be honest, Sneekes more than Mixu Sc ored some great goals though. Shuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute
jules_darby Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Agree with Casino about smurf Joey and Stelios - right wingers that can't beat men. Vastly, vastly overrated. Whoever typed Steve Thompson, go wash your keyboard fingers - he was the only Bolton player who could control, pass, shoot or basically do anything cultured with the ball for a good few years. Still dunno why the crowd turned on him towards the end of his spell with us - often happens when players stay with one club for a while... Robbie Elliott's head went to mush after the leg break - he was at counselling due to his fear of it happening again and was never the same player again. Shame as he would've been a cracker. Didn't think the likes of Compstive were ever rated by anyone barring Tranmere fans?
revdishydave Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 fabien de freitas... lets face it other than a handful of games he was shite
Superwhite Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 fabien de freitas... lets face it other than a handful of games he was shite One of the laziest players I ever saw. However, you have to say that sort of thing very quietly in some quarters.
Mike Hunt Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 having just seen his pic in th'evenin news, add David Lee to the list.
MickyD Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 having just seen his pic in th'evenin news, add David Lee to the list. So now we're deleting the word shite and replacing it with the word inconsistent. Quite a few of those mentioned had their moments but couldn't do it week in week out. If they could they'd never have played for Bolton, they'd have been in the top flight all their careers. For most of the players mentioned Ill bet they had at least some memorable games. Memorable for their great play rather than their shiteness. David Lee - Who could forget THAT game at Anfield? DeFreitas - Likewise the game against Reading in play-offs.
nomore352 Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 David Lee for certain! He is still better than some of the so called forwards presently at the club & a star of the Masters!
Nowack Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 (edited) Oooert Oooert Orrer!! Think he was spazzy Daren's Fave Remember Daz sat on the terrace at Swansea singing it 'collecting' toilet role and two pence pieces My choices would be Simon Farnworth, Dean Crombie and Dave Felgate An overatated Welsh International? surely not. He is also rated as the 14 greatest ever player for Lincoln City. http://www.redimps.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Le...~999181,00.html Edited July 3, 2007 by Nowack
